I always thought he was an anti-Raven

He worked his butt off and stepped up big time only to be buried on the depth chart after proving himself. That's not whining. It's honest

I don't get it. You can make millions of dollars to be in shape and play in the NFL. Or be out of shape and be out of the league. His weight management would make me question his commitment to the game....

We got cute and missed out on Noah Spence who had a great season while KC did what??

OMG! Yes! NFL is literally in love with the Cowboys and Patriots these past few weeks. Especially with the Romo thing. God I want to vomit from their articles
This should be moved to the draft section

Yes indeed.

If you are already a PSL owner or are a season ticket holder then I believe that perk should come to you, but that would take a bit of logistics for this site to determine who actually is and is not one of those people in order to get that perk.
Well if people were paying, resources would allow. We get new cards every year. Easy enough to send a photo to the mods?

have no issue paying for a site we ourselfs run though.
as for info i guess nfl.com will be fine and hello no to twitter and facebook.
PSL holders should get a free subscription ![]()

to these sites to read and try to get into discussion are always put down by the very FEW and SAME people that always dominate
and act as if their opinion is the only one that matters. If you disagree with them you get talked about and ridiculed as if
you didn't know a thing about football.... And lord forbid if you say one wrong thing about the Ravens. It is either you
just agree with everything and anything the same 5 or 6 people say that act as if they own the site or say nothing.
This was basically the same thing I read on the Scout Forum a while back as well. They would say that the place
became a ghost town and wondered why. It was the same reason. A few know it alls that spoiled it for everyone else.
So it has nothing to do with advertising, more exposure, etc. ...it has to do with allowing the same very few people dominate
everything with their opinions get away with it and drive everyone else away. That is what happens to these sites. It is as if
these people have no life and have to voice their opinion on every single subject that comes up. And as stated always act as if
their opinion is the best and only one.
I used to sit in seats at Ravens stadium that were adjacent to a lone seat that wasn't owned by a PSL. The best thing
that happened was that a lot of times it usually sold on game day to an opposing fan. At first that seemed like a bad thing...
but eventually I learned that I got better insight and talk from someone with a different opinion about not only their team
but the Ravens as well because they weren't biased and gave opinions that were way different then a purple kool-aid
drinking Ravens fan. So eventually I hoped that the person buying the seat would be someone from the other team as I had
better conversation and friendly rivalry with them.
These sites block those kind of people. They only allow Ravens fans and set up so many rules about what you can say or
not say that after a while it sounds like a Leave It To Beaver TV Show. "Golly gee Wally the R avens are really neat" .. "Yeah,
I know Beave" ... But let Eddie Haskell show up and it all goes down hill and he is told to go home.....
Hopefully, someone opens a site where people can voice their opinions good or bad and stop the few no-it-alls that dominate
and ruin them.
Talk about a tangent! Brother I have to disagree here. I don't know of one person that puts others down on this site maybe RAVENSIQ ( Troy Smith is god) or STEELERS PROPHET back in the day but I can't think of any others.
The reason it has to be kept clean is because this message board is part of the ravens official team site which means everything needs to be tasteful and presentable to anybody that enters. Would you want your child to come in here and see Sh.... or [profanity deleted]....... I know I wouldnt
Is there a count of how many memebers are on this board? Some members are fans of other teams in their respective cities but STILL come here to talk football with us. That says a lot about our community and we deserve to exist
9 minutes ago, PuRock said:No one. This is simply a business decision. Probably a mix between costs and a marketing angle. Having a message board has little benefits. Probably more of a liability than anything else. Close the message board and force users to support the official social media.
Wish they would keep a place for us die hard fans to discuss all things Ravens. But business first like usual.
I won't support anything digitally if they take the boards away and urge my fellow PSL holder friends to follow suit
So my last question is, what exactly are the message boards hurting? What is the reasoning besides what was given already?

Pitta has good hands no question, but, he is unable after his hip procedures to gain separation from defenders and also can't gain yards after catch. This was evidenced last year with a horrendous ypc average of around 8 yds! That is pretty bad and he isn't a red zone threat either because they know he is Joe's primary target and have him smothered. Joe's inability to see past Pitta as an option on blitzes has cost us a lot of turnovers. In fact, Joe's been baited by defenders into throwing to Pitta only to snag INTs. I think for Joe to stop his regression and grow he needs to be able to see the entire field of options available to him. But he wasn't all of last year and one reason imo was Pitta.
In any case, in the presser that just concluded Ozzie ended a Pitta question with a cryptic ' Pitta is still a Raven' message. So, our concerns and reactions are moot if the front office believes he belongs here at full salary.
How's comfort level and friendship with Pitta compromised our teams salary cap for next season. Little dink and dunks to Pitta over the last few games to get his bonuses. Very low production from those completion but he made sure to get Dennis his moneys.

Dude could cover anyone in the league at that time.
I remember he he started off as a returner and was electric. Moved on to be a great CB until he blew his knee out ![]()
Webby will truly be missed here. Wonder if Jimmy takes number 21 now??

Little historical happening with Carolina again. When they drafted Dwayne Jarrett, Keyshawn Johnson was on tv gloating how he's going to mentor Jarrett.....the panthers released Keyshawn just a couple days later.....Jarrett never did much of anything in the league
Do the Pats still have Michael Floyd?
that could be a monster receiving corp. what's next? They sign AP for $6M/yr

Exactly. Imagine what 3 first round and 4 2nd round picks in 2 years does for any team. Gorapolo is not worth that. Maybe one or two players in the league are, but not a guy that played 5 games
I see a lot of stories saying Cleveland is possibly going to package all of these high draft picks to go get Jimmy G.
I believe that that would be a STUPID move! You keep those picks and build a young core of high impact players. I don't care how well Gorapolo played for 4 or 5 games, he's not worth a teams future when they finally are making a few good moves.

Precisely! I remember back in the day Amos Zeroue burned the hell out of our #1 defense and NFL chats, people were calling him the second coming of Barry Sanders. Shyeah, right
