Another day, another arrest.
Giants linebacker Dan Connor arrested at Philadelphia Airport for having a switchblade.
Let's stick to the subject, please.
Sorry for posting a video but this guy is a legend and deserves full priority
Not good enough. Tell us why you're listening to it and why we might want to also. DISCUSS, don't just post.
Attention everyone posting in this thread:
First, you were asked to ease up on the videos. Some of you don't seem to "get" that.
Second, and even more importantly, it has ALWAYS been against the rules to post random links and videos WITHOUT meaningful commentary. If you have something to discuss, fine, but no more random links and videos WITHOUT MEANINGFUL commentary. Either participate in a discussion or pack it in.
Please remember that since these are primarily football forums, we can disallow any this altogether.
Please also keep in mind Rule 2:
2. Please be respectful of your fellow members. Do not post material that is knowingly false, defamatory, deceptive, inaccurate, racist, insulting, abusive, inflammatory, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually graphic or lewd, physically threatening, invasive of another's privacy or otherwise in violation of any law, including stalking or otherwise harassing individual members. This rule also applies to signatures, avatars and usernames. If your post contains a profanity, it may be automatically altered by our profanity filter or by a moderator. Please do not try to get around our profanity filter.
People seem to forget the "vulgar" and "hateful" parts of that rule.
You also have to take into account the fact that some football players are really really really really dumb.
Fixed that for you.
Reminder, Hernandez posts go in the Hernandez thread: http://boards.baltimoreravens.com/topic/52396-new-england-patriots-are-weaker-everything-aaron-hernadez/
33 NFL players arrested in 2013...here's all of them:

Â
Only 1 person on there (kind of) on our team...Rolando McClain...and I don't even count him as a Raven. Â He's also listed as a Raider
Â
I love our team.
We've had pur share over the years. I wouldn't get too smug. Look where that got Patriot fans.
You have no idea how many of "them" I've worked with over the years.
I enjoy the Big Bang theory.
Funniest show on TV. I even laugh at the reruns.
He says he was protecting himself.
Has it been reported anywhere on here that Adam Pacman Jones tweeted that he has been arrested???
Coming up on NFL Live shortly, at least according to the side bar.
Reminder: this is not the dump thread.
Also, thanks for the 3rd quote to add to my signature.
Too many. Your sig takes up the whole screen on my iPad. One has to go.
ESPN is reporting that Boldin says he has NOT been asked to restructure and he plans on playing for the Ravens.
What the heck is going on?
Obviously the FO has more important reasons for cutting a guy like Boldin but I have to wonder if a side benefit of doing so isn't the FO's way of telling Flacco "you wanted to be the highest paid...this is what happens".
No. And Flacco structured his contract in such a way that this wasn't supposed to happen.
If the article from Rotoworld is correct and this is about cutting Boldin to keep Ellerbe...if you look at overall production and durability, and not from just this season, this seems like bad business decision to me. Once people realize that the MLB position isn't as important as it was when Lewis was here (strengthen the front seven), it just doesn't justify overpaying Ellerbe when there are viable, cheaper options in the draft. The last thing you would want to do is weaken the offense at this point at the expense of the defense, and I think Boldin's absence weakens the offense not only from losing a "clutch" player, but from a leadership and "coaching up" perspective. Glad I am not in Ozzie's shoes.
I think the issue is losing BOTH of our experience MLBs in one year as opposed to losing 1 experienced WR.
We also have holes to fill with draft picks and UDFAs.
I love Q and I really want him back. That being said, if someone else can be ALMOST as good for way less cap hit, then the writing is on the wall.
This is Ellerbe's first (and possibly only) chance at a big payday. As much as I'd like to keep him, if he gets offered megabucks by another team, I'll wish him well (except for when he plays us). He was instrumental in us making and winning the playoffs/Super Bowl.
Any bar in Federal Hill, Fells Point, Inner Harbor, or the main business district.
I wanna see a cat in a Ray Lewis jersey doing "the dance".
The award for the first off-season arrest goes to the Pittsburgh Steelers!
Steelers RB Chris Rainey was arrested this morning on one account of simple battery. Apparently Rainey and his girlfriend were arguing over.... a cell phone? Yes apparently an argument over a cell phone led to Rainey pulling her out of the car and slapping her across her face with an open hand.
Time to start a new "2013 Off-Season Arrest Thread". This could be your first post.
You're saying you want... moar?
No, I'm saying to stop trying to turn this into another Dump Thread. A lot of crappola had to be removed this morning.
