@berad thanks for the shout out. Wishing you the best. Thanks for your tolerance. You're a good dude.

Going off of that, I want to give a final, and sincere, apology and thank you, to the mods, particularly Berad, @Moderator 3, and @The Mom Gene. Y'all are good people.

Thanks, @The Raven.  You were a "handful" at times, but turned into such a valued poster.  I want to echo Berad in saying it was never personal.  We just wanted to maintain a nice civil environment.

After careful consideration, we have decided that we will sunset our message boards at the end of this month. Since we opened our boards a decade ago, the digital landscape has greatly evolved. While we understand there remains a smaller group of highly-engaged fans who participate in conversation in our forums, a significant amount of the dialogue about our team and our games has migrated away to other social media platforms over the past several years.

This is the reason we were given (1st post).

My heart goes out to those members who don't really have another place to "talk" Ravens (like shut-ins, those living far away, etc.).  It's easy for me to have a conversation.  Heck, it happened in my dentist's office this morning.  For some, though, they have nobody but us to talk with.

There should some sort of one time, monitored by you guys, page on the ravens site for us to write our condolences and heart felt comments about Holly and the Heaps. The Ravens need to make sure HH is on the helmets and/or jersey and/or field the entire season. Start that site if it's possible. I'm in IT, so I know it shouldn't be that hard lol.

    There is one http://boards.baltimoreravens.com/topic/72855-prayers-to-todd-heap-and-family

There were also extensive condolences posted in the story on this site when the incredibly sad incident happened.

Like we need another reason to hate Boston and their fans

    http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/19291263/adam-jones-baltimore-orioles-says-was-target-racist-abuse-fenway-park

a lot of boston fans were ejected in last night's game for racist's comments directed toward Adam Jones.

One scumbag threw a bag of peanuts at Jones and he was ejected as well.

Big story up on USA Today, too.  Face it, New England/Boston fans are scum.  Tonight should be "fun".

The boards closing I can live with.

But the Ravens closing the Westminster training camp where you could go and watch our team anytime was unacceptable.

I'm still angry over that cheap shot to diehard Ravens fans.

I have yet to get tickets, which is on a lottery ,to the Owings Mills complex.

And this year even that is closed.

I noted Gruden really emphasizing something that I had not thought of but seems to make sense ... he didn't state it specifically about Humphrey, but in general. Almost every college player coming out needs work on something. Virtually no one comes out 100% NFL ready. For him, the thing you cannot select high, because the current CBA does not allow you to work on and that is how to tackle. If you come out of college and you are not a good tackler - then you can expect that to be an issue that will linger - possibly forever.

One guy he seemed to blast on this front is Hooker. Yes, he's an amazing athlete and has a ton of talent, but has bad tackling habits that he doesn't see being able to be adequately addressed. When you look at the report on Humphrey, it would seem like the things he needs to work out can be worked on, such as downfield coverage and tracking of the ball. It doesn't seem like he needs to be coached up on how to lay the wood.

So - I'll take that as a good thing, when it comes to our selection. Hopefully we can get some of these issues fixed and quickly. It also is helpful that we've got a nice set of safeties to help on deep coverage. I know we don't want to rush the guy, but I'd like to see him making on impact on this defense ... sooner rather than later.

I wish you had posted that in his Welcome thread.  Copy and paste maybe?

Can someone please help me? I'm not seeing anything on this page. I feel like ever since they switched to the new mobile-friendly format, I've been unable to even see the tweets on the LFW, as well as several videos and whatever type of files are on this page.

Are you on a phone?  I always use the full-screen version.
