I've been expected to be on time, but was never penalized for being late if there were weather-related delays such as flooded roads, traffic accidents, etc. Life happens.

On that being late thing: keep in mind that the weather was absolutely vile yesterday. I'm sure a lot of people were late for important events. He might have a legit excuse.

I don't know if "nothing" is a good description. She did wake up in a hospital with no idea how she got there and the whole thing sounds pretty creepy. Something happened but right now nobody knows what.

Sad to have to start this so soon, but after an "almost" season we know we have a few things to fix and a few decisions to make. How can we fix the starting pitching? Who stays and who goes?

Even if you aren't going to the game, downtown on Opening Day is quite the experience. It's a giant party all around the stadium. Streets get blocked off for partying, a lot of offices throw parties, there is orange everywhere. I'm going to miss it this year.

Me. First time in years I won't be downtown on Opening Day.
