He needs polish and consistency as a run blocker, but his tools as a receiver aren't in doubt. He has a unique blend of athleticism and soft hands, which carried over from his switch from WR or TE. There are several players at his position who are generally rated higher, some who are still on the board, but Higbee might have among the highest upside of the bunch in what is a relatively weak class.
Great pick, I was just watching his tape yesterday and definitely thought I will get him at 4.7, maybe even 4.23
I think he has huge potential, he only started this past year but is a converted WR and was open on a consistent basis and has terrific hands

Am I up?
With the 23rd pick in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select...

Joshua Garnett, Guard, Stanford
I am still fielding offers for this pick. My top guy was Spriggs who just went so I may trade my selection
I am currently deciding between two guys, but if I feel that they could slip I may make a deal, so feel free to PM me for another hour or so
If you want to move up in the second round, pick 2.23 may be available depending on if my targets are gone

Personally I don't see it on the film, hence I took Clark not him. I know about the hype, but I just couldn't help myself and rank 4 interior DLinemen ahead of him
7 hours ago, Mt. Crushmore said:Clark is a good player, but I'm not sure I understand the selection given the Vikings DT depth chart before that:
DT: Shariff Floyd, Tom Johnson
NT: Linval Joseph, Ian Williams
It's what great GMs do, they stay true to their board and take the best player on it, need or not ![]()
Besides, Clark is an incredible interior rusher and with todays passing NFL will likely get lots of reps in his rookie season (also with my stacked interior)
I always believed that great teams are build through the trenches on both sides of the ball. Clark to me is right up there with Robinson and another DT for #1 in this years draft
He has always been really good against the run, but this season he has discovered his pass rushing side, and is crazily good at it. Personally I feel he is the best interior rusher in this years draft, he can beat you with anything, a great bull rush, rip, swim due to his short area explosion. He even got plays in which he lined up 3 yards off of the line and absolutely bulldozed over his blocker. Overall I am really happy to get him at this point as I feel he has a bright future
This addition should give me a great interior DLine for years to come with Linval Joseph, Ian Williams, Sharrif Floyd and Kenny Clark
With the 27th pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select...
Kenny Clark, DT, UCLA

Man, I would be the happiest man on the planet. I'd be flipping
The 27th pick may also be available, as I would be willing to trade back again for the right offer

Not the best value pick to some but value changes and I wanted to go with someone I trusted in with my first round pick. Fuller struggled quite a bit this past year but he was also playing on a torn meniscus so his struggles make perfect sense and the fact that he actually played games through it is something that boosts his value quite a bit for me(guess why). But yeah, CB is a big need for me so it makes a lot of sense for me to get him.
The Steelers getting him in this game for sure means the Ravens will get him in real life. I believe
The 27th pick may also be available, as I would be willing to trade back again for the right offer
So this suprisingly and amazingly is my first trade of this years Forum Mock

Round 1 Pick 23
