I don't even consider him the best on his team

I realize how important a QB-WR relationship is but I also realize that my not yet selected QB will have an easier time throwing to Cooper than to have someone far worse as his #1 target.Also I think the athletic part of football is too overhyped, if a guy can flat out play, he can flat out play and being such a smooth footballer is harder to teach than becoming a better athlete. In fact, I think it is much more impressive if you destroy everybody in college with exceptional route running and recieving skills than just being faster and bigger than everybody else the former requires a whole lot of skill. Not that Cooper isn't a terrific athlete, but his football skill takes him to another level

Reasons I selected Cooper: I see a lot of people are hating those last few WR picks and want to go other directions when it comes to picking players but think Cooper is the ultimate package when it comes to being a WR. He may not have the highest ceiling of the players that were still on the board, but he already is so good and will only get better by time. I currently do not have a QB, but it is so much easier for any QB if he has that undoubted #1 WR in the lineup and I think it is more than likely that he develops into that matchup nightmare every team desires to have. Is he proven? Certainly not. But in my mind he has all the talent one would want and when we look back in some years time or even next year I think Cooper in the 6th will be considered a steal But I can tell you guys I was very much torn between Cooper and J. Kelce, with Mathis being in the mix aswell
