This is a joke, right? You must have been in the can late in the game when Smith dropped a TD pass, and Gillmore had one taken out of his hands.Defense was as good as it gets....Offense was horrible. Sad that Flacco looked sooo bad. He acted scared the whole game, like he was afraid to take a hit. He lost a game that the defense won, it was entirely his fault. Then to not score in the red zone at the end was his way of making sure HE lost the game. Hate to say it, but if Renner was in there we win that game. Terrible way to start the season.
I don't understand why Steve Smith gets all these free passes around here. Actually, I do. He's the only decent receiver on the team with a bunch of nobody's behind him. The man was tied for the most drops last year but everyone conveniently forgets that. And he hasn't started out this year too hot, either. Look, I like the guy, and I love his attitude. But when other receivers drop similar passes everyone wants heads to roll. The hypocrisy hurts my brain.
That being said, Trestman bears much (most) of the blame for this one. The lineman can only do what they can do. It's up to the OC to make adjustments. He failed. Not a happy camper about this one. The defense played lights-out, and yet again the offense loses the game for us.
Randy Moss says he still has the itch and is healthy if needed. Just saying
Sounds good to me. He'd be more productive than anyone currently on the roster.

I think this will make him even better because he knows he has to leave everything on the field this year.
And by "even better" you mean NOT leading the league in drops this year? I like his attitude, too. But people around here act as if were the second coming for this football team. He's had a great career, but far too many years were spent playing for another team. I wish him luck.
I get down voted for facts? Especially since I also conceded that it would be different if he played here for most or all of his career? Wow.
If Jimmy can shut down Megatron, he can literally shut down any WR in the league.....
Everyone likes to forget the dropped passes that game. No disrespect to the Jimmy, but Megatron was his own worst enemy that night.
LOL. Thanks ![]()

A good friend of mine holds his General ticket and turned me onto Ham radio. We were deployed to the desert and made QSO's with 39 or 40 different countries, mostly 15m and 20m. That was 2010. Ever since then I had been wanting to get it. Finally did and was issued my call on April 19th of this year. I've got a Yaesu FT-60 for the local repeaters. Cool little handheld. I don't have an HF rig yet, but I've been offered a Kenwood TS-440S/AT to "play around with" from an Elmer. Gonna upgrade soon to General to take full advantage of the nice, older rig. Any of you guys Hams? 73! KG5HFO ![]()
If so, you should buy his jersey, wear and post it. I also like Waller
Is it available yet? I really think this kid has it. I can't say specifically what "it" is, but every time I watch him play, or watch him speak, I know it's there. Something about him just tells me that he'll have a long and prosperous career in the League.
I think Waller HAS to make the 53. You don't take your chances sending him to the practice squad. Unless he has an absolute crap camp, he's gonna make the 53. I like everything about the guy. He's extremely intelligent, and obviously has the physical traits you want in an NFL receiver. I'll even go out on a limb and say that by the time it's all said and done, he'll be more productive than Perriman.
There is no way that he can come back. I am a big fan of his but to see him go down without contact was sickening to me. What is the team's responsibility in the decision to return?
Pitta and I have a mutual friend. I've never met him, but was told that his wife really doesn't want him to play again. Can't say that I blame her. I don't think he'll play football again. I hope I'm wrong and that he plays a few more years of good, healthy football. I just don't see it happening.

Poor clock management, stupid penalties, no pass rush, not getting 2 feet in on a TD pass, and a game-ending INT. We just lost to the Raiders. Haha. What a joke this year is going to be.
