I see that you didn't address my point. But that's typical of the purple kool-aid drinkers.

Since the team has been pathetically mediocre ever since our beautiful "elite" QB has gotten his big contract, I can understand the sentiment.
When are we going to bring in a true #1 QB?
I agree that it would be hard for Ray to be a coach. There's just something about being one of, if not THE, best at your position. It's hard for someone like that to be a coach. They expect everyone to play the game like they did, but it's impossible. I'd love to see Ray here as a linebackers coach or a defensive assistant. If nothing else, maybe he could give them some of that fire that he has had his entire life.

You don't think the Broncos would love him there? With that cast of WR's? With his arm in that stadium? sheesh...
No, John Elway wouldn't take our doofus QB.

Yup. Uncle Sam moved me out to Oklahoma in early 2008. I've been out of the service for 2 years now and have no plans to return. The politics, taxes, etc are not missed by me I can assure you. I do come and visit once or twice a year but I'd never move back. Maybe Texas, or Wyoming, or Montana. But that's just my personality.
This circus never ends, does it?
A "run-first" offense with a $120 million dollar quarterback? Lol. And all because of a miraculous 4 game stretch.
I'm so tired of having to rely on other teams for our playoff hopes.

Yup. That's called talent evaluation and good coaching. It would be fantastic if that could make it to Baltimore someday.

Nothing. That's his golden boy.

Definitely not Joe's fault. Just ask any of his fanboys.

You may not see it, Camp can play. I just wish he was actually healthy enough to actually matter. He can run routes and has good hands, even if it was a small sample size.
I wish Sergio Kindle could have played too. But wishes don't make football players. Camp is soft. And a waste of a roster spot.

Woo

LOL, no. More often than not, Fluke-O is the reason we lose. We have a Top 5 defense, and are ranked middle of the road in dropped passes. Time for you fanboys to find another excuse.
The guy had a once-in-a-lifetime 3 game streak 4 years ago. Other than that, he's been the same inconsistent doofus that he's always been.

You mean like the first 3 chances?

the excuses around here never stop. Absolutely ridiculous. Why can't we just all agree that Flacco is no better than an average QB. And even that is giving him the benefit of the doubt. If not for a miracle 3-game streak in 2012, he might not even be on the team in 2016.
Edit- "Holy Jesus" was edited out of my post? No different than "Holy Santa Clause" or "Holy Tooth Fairy"
He's needs to go to London and stay there.
I've seen several posters here say something to the effect of "I'd still rather have Joe than Big Ben". Are you people serious?! If Joe and Ben swapped cities right now, Baltimore would be the AFC North favorites every single year. I, personally, think Ben is a [profanity deleted]. But to say that Joe is a better QB is laughable. Joe's not even the second best in the division lol. He's 29th in yards per attempt and 25th in QB rating. Oh, and before you try it, Baltimore is ranked 16th in dropped passes this year. about as average as it gets. But I'm sure you all will find a way to defend Flacco's putrid play.

I don't care if Roethlisberger has them written on an Etch-a-Sketch, he has more football smarts in his pinky than our QB does in his whole body. I HATE the Steelers so don't start with the name calling. Brother, you need to get your eyes checked. Flacco is a doofus.

Well then we're screwed. We MIGHT get past the Eagles, but we'll lose our last two games.
Yup, nothing is EVER Joe's fault. At least not solely. Underthrowing balls that were still caught, but no YAC, throwing 2 yard completions on 3rd and 8 hoping that the WRs will get the yards. Taking the most inopportune sacks, etc. The only thing "elite" about Flacco is his paycheck. I will give you this: the coaching flat-out sucked tonight, too. This team is a dumpster fire from top to bottom with the exception of a few guys. Joe isn't one of them. We are lucky to have as many wins as we do. If we do make the playoffs, it'll be the standard one-and-done. Sorry to piss on your Wheaties, but it's time Biscotti starts taking this team in a radical new direction.
10 hours ago, JamesA119 said:I can't see how you can follow football and make comments like "Flacco has played extremely well" in the past 4 yrs. In that span he has 65 TDs and 48 Ints. If you take away the 2014 when Gary Kubiak was here (27TDs and 12 Ints)' he has 38TDs 38 Ints. He is what you call a system QB. You should know this by now.
Don't you get it yet? You're either a Flacco jock rider or you're "not a real fan". LOL. NOTHING is Flacco's fault, ever. And if you happen to disagree, "you should find another team to cheer for". These characters on this board are unbelievable."Flacco has played extremely well"? Haha! Against who? The kids attending his camp?
How has this thread not blown up yet? Lol. It's about dang time this move was made. Let's hope we can turn things around going forward. Trestman wasn't the only problem with the offense, but he surely played the biggest part.
