Literally the moderators here are the biggest Flacco homers. They still have the "thanks to Joe for being plays away from playing in his 4th super bowl". How about the stat Flacco has more turnovers than TDs since he signed his mega deal? A few more yards and targets for those WRs when we throw the ball 50 times a game isn't shocking pal. RMC - that was way too much to respond to, if you don't think what he said was putting the onus on Flacco for being so highly paid then I think you're choosing to not see that. He didn't roll Flacco under the bus but the message was very clear, Flacco is being paid to be elite and he needs to get there. I'm aware QBR isn't an end all be all stat, but if we can't have an eye test or a statistical conversation then what is the point of talking about it at all? I get that people are loyal to Joe, blindingly loyal to Joe in fact. I'm also aware Flacco will be the QB of this team for a minimum of 3 more years. That doesn't mean that I have to like it. Feeling like myself and purple nation have been handcuffed by his contract and paired with his subpar play, seems pretty warranted to me.

You must've missed the Harbs EOY interview today, with a QB playing below average and making elite money handcuffs the organization. Not sure how you can make any sort of argument relative to market value. As you said Flacco's best season was 2014 and he was still the 16th ranked passer in the NFL. His other 3 seasons since his mega deal - 24, 30, 32nd. To have a cap hit as high as he does with those kind of results means that the Ravens FO was legitimately robbed during the discussions of "market value". People want to say that organizations would love to have a QB like Joe, that simply isn't true. Organizations pay to take a chance on a guy like Joe hoping he can become worth the money - it is all too clear that this gamble didn't pay off.

Guess you're that guy. Any adequately intelligent person would agree at no point in my post did I say that, solid guess though. Sucktard gets the same protection as most starting NFL QBs and his production is comically below average. Obviously he is Tom Brady but if you can look yourself in the mirror and honestly answer these questions and still be a Flacco apologist then you're a homer with no hope. Who got hit/hurried more on Monday? Who was the better QB? Who has better receivers? Who gets paid more? Still uncertain if you're able to read but might want to check out some of the articles about Steve Smith at practice, guess us fans aren't the only ones getting sick of Sucktards lackluster performance for an insane price.

Flacco apologists are sickening. The line sucks, but if you look at the stats he has been hit fewer per dropback than most NFL QBs. The guy has been flat out terrible this season and people want to just make excuses for him. All of his stats are atrocious and he's not been hit nearly as often as you apologists make it out to seem. Both Fitz and Smith were hit as much (and more) and found ways to make plays when they needed to. Joe has consistently shown that he is not that QB this year. Ive always been a "if we can make it to January I like to have Joe on my squad" guy. Now he's an abysmal QB that gives us no chance to compete in our division.
