  1. I don't think so. I mean, if we're saying we're the "dark horse" or really contenders, it will go through NE.
  2. Yeah. I heard he was fast, but that's the first time we've really seen it. Safety was at full stride right behind Perriman and he just walked away from him. He's fast, just needs a little runway. lol
  3. True, but I think you'll find this year there is a little more "on paper, we..." kind of talk. You're spot-on though, every year this happens.
  4. I'm happy he's on the team, but there was zero pressure on him. Zero. Okay, maybe the pressure to prove he can play, but no playoff seeding implications, no win or go home playoff pressure. None. Have to take that into account.
  5. I'm thinking Brown shows up big this game.
  6. We're going to learn quite a bit about Aiken and Brown on Sunday. If these guys can't get it going against this secondary, they will never be more than a #3 WR in this league.
  7. Gets my vote for most obvious sub-heading in an article.
  8. "Purple Meh..."
  9. This looks like an article written by a person that has gotten the news already that Suggs is done. This wreaks of the classic drip, drip, drip, let them down easy. I hope I'm wrong.
  10. Mind...read...
  11. A thousand times, this...
  12. I agree. I see something similar to what NE did on Thursday, a bit of just throwing it around. Obviously, we'd be hard-pressed to get the same results, as Gronk is, well, Gronk. I see a lot of short stuff, and I have a good feeling about Joe, which feels unnatural.
  13. In the first half. Callin' it...
  14. My thoughts exactly, Sami. Before he was injured, I was already thinking he was the key to this one. Being under center requires quite a bit more mobility than it seems, and they have an unproven, young o-line. Having Peyton under center in Kubes' system, with an on Jernigan, and it has potential to be somewhat comedic. Like, screw the system, I'll calling audibles all night kind of funny. Ahhhh, one can dream...
  15. I think they're going to get chewed up pretty badly, either way. I have a feeling that Jimmy is going to have a bit of a statement game. But the others... Still think we pull it off, but we'll need a mistake to do it, I think. Toss up game in my head. So hard to call, too many unknowns.
  16. When I read that, it was in Forrest Gump's voice. LOL
  17. Good grief.
  18. He absolutely would be, if 100%. They're obvious glaring issue is the O-Line. Whether or not it really is an issue for them, well, no one knows until gametime, but on paper that is the opportunity. Jernigan pretty much camps out in the backfield when he's 100%. Under the Kubes system, Peyton is spending more time than ever under center, and that requires a bit of mobility and quickness to drop back and allow longer plays to develop. Pressure up the middle on that is key, and Jernigan is a stud on that. Ughhh. I wish he was 100%, and can only hope that they are being overly cautious with him and playing a bit of gamesmanship on the injury reports. lol
  19. Out of state fan. I have a hard time finding Ravens gear out here in donkey country. Can anyone recommend a good replica seller? Amazon, online store? Thanks all PM me if necessary
  20. Yeah, they're really nervous about how poor Manning looked in the pre-season in the new system. Meh. That's Peyton Manning, he'll be okay in any system. But, yes. I do feel like there's a bit of apprehension around here. Fine by me. Have to listen to Big Al and DMac on the radio talk trash all this week.
  21. I live out here in Denver, and you're absolutely right. Peyton get rid of the ball stupid-fast. That's why I was so bummed out when Jernigan went down. He's the self-sack king of the NFL. Pressure through the middle gives him fits, and Jernigan has been camping out there pretty much every healthy game he has played recently. Ughhhh....
  22. Roethlisberger will get in because his stats will be close enough and he's a Steeler.
  23. HAHAH. I was thinking the same thing. I was picturing someone with an avatar of him photoshopped sitting on a Steeler's helmet, like a vulture. Then you said this. So funny.
  24. Flacco had tucked the ball. He's considered a runner at that point, I think.
  25. That's a good pic on the rifle range. You coming up for the game this weekend? I live out in Denver right now, but I am flying home for my old man's b-day, and will be heading out to the game. If you are, I'd like meet up and have a cold one with ya. Semper Fi bro.
