8 million a year
An 8-8 team with ageing overpriced veterans like ours needs more contracts that represent long term value for money, thats how we stay competitive on the field, that means rebuilding. So considering Pitta's age, recent injury and our tight cap situation we might have to move on but as we saw last season it's easier said than done.
If Monroe walks I really wouldn't mind seeing that dude Collins come in from Cincy. He was stellar in pass protection last season at LT but Whitworth wants to play LT and not LG. Shouldn't command too much money either.
The problem with Collins is he's heavy footed in the run game, his pass blocking is good though. He's similar to Whitworth (or even McKinnie) where he gets great anticipation, positioning and hand placement.
I can't really think who has a ton of cap space and needs an LT...
Dolphins, Falcons, Cards probably a few more, it's a deep draft at tackle but Monroe is a proven commodity.
Actually his family is from the area. It's been reported that his wife wants him to stay.
Link? I hope thats true.
If Monroe has a brain and a family he'll test free agency, just saying. I hope we have a plan B in place if he walks.
Instead of buying WM, you can always go to a local bar and save $60, and if it stinks, you're not out a bunch of money haha
I'm not really the type to wear CM Punk tshirts and talk rasslin in public if you know what I mean..
Two things have to happen for me to purchase WM this year, this Punk thing turns out to be a shoot storyline and Daniel Bryan wins at the Elimination Chamber.
Wall: 15 points, 15 assist, 4 rebounds, 6 steals, only 2 turnovers against the Thunder tonight.
Best PG in the East this season.
Reggie Jackson doesn't play D. Thunder are runnin at 85% without Wesbrook.
Not a huge fan of former head coaches hired in specialist roles, mainly because it's always a short term bandaid solution.
I've never been a huge WWE fan, but even I was disappointed with last night's Royal Rumble, and the fans in Pitt had every right to boo them out of the stadium... badly done, WWE, badly done. No way Batista should've won, and no way Bryan should've been left out of the Rumble. It just doesn't make sense.
I haven't watched in months but I heard the crowd was mad that Bryan wasn't in the rumble. Maybe he'll win the EC and face Orton and Batista at WM?
Anthony Davis, 22 points, 19 rebounds, 7 blocks, 3 assists, 2 steals
LBJ needs to grow a pair and just do it
LBJ grow a pair? HA nice one.
But you want mike evans? Right cause he is a big target? So can he run routes? How bout a complete receiver for once, I guess you like Lego players then. Always a project player we Draft and don't pan out. I guess that is what you prefer?
Pass, I'm not interested in talking in circles. My opinion is unchanged.
Ok understood. I am not worried bout complimenting other receivers on the roster. I am bout the Ravens picking the best skill set at WR. Not the boards flavor of the week. I want a receiver that know how to run routes. Not a project that develops a few years later
"Flavor of the week" says the guy driving the Lee bandwagon. If you're sold on Mark Clayton 2.0 thats your prerogative.
How is that? Please elaborate? I see a few differences in their game
Every player will have differences to other players of the same "type", it's not worth debating. I'm interested in the bigger picture and having receivers who can complement each other and do different things.
You don't think Lee could do that?
Lee wouldn't be a complement to Torrey since they're similar.
If we draft a 1st round receiver it should be Evans or nobody, someone who can move the chains and open up the field for Torrey.
Well KD is incredible.
Wait till Westbrook gets back too, even Perk is showing up.
You never know how the FA market pans out, some years are hot for some positions. He obviously has serious value as someone who can move the chains and make tough catches and that alone will get him a lot of interest.
He'll take the biggest offer on the table so I won't be surprised if he leaves.
Someone with reliable hands.
What Pitta does have is arguably the best hands of any TE, if I was a GM the production wouldn't bother me because, well he's a Raven.
Just like Art Jones theres no way Pitta is giving a hometown discount on what is his last big contract, if other teams become enamoured by his hands he's gone.
Uhh the comparison is not similar because his offense DID show up, did you not see the Alabama rb Henry
steamrolling the OUdefense at will? 8 rushes for 100 yards for Henry (12.5 ypc) and 17 for 72 for Yeldon ( a
4.2 ypc).
I'm obviously talking about his offensive line. All college defenses give up yards on the ground, that goes without saying.
Funny how we all laugh at AJ throwing picks and playing badly because his offense didn't turn up... seems familiar.

Receivers with hands like Boldin's and Pitta's are extremely hard to come by.
Edit: Whoever it is that lines up at TE, just please catch the ball thats all I ask.
