  1. MVP has legit mic skills an charisma, his face turn and watered down gimmick were premature and there are just too many heels as it is.

One thing I noticed is WWE will kill momentum of over wrestlers they don't want in the title picture by watering down their gimmicks and cutting their appearances and promos, then they'll give guys like McIntyre a superpush despite the XPac heat. They really don't like when someone gets over accidentally.

  2. From what I am seeing in regard to TNA Wrestling, it looks as though the natives are restless. Perhaps having Bischoff and Hogan in this promotion together wasn't so good for the promotion, and it is apparently showing in the way the matches are going down.

I think they should be retained on the strength of Hogan and Bischoffs mic work, both are excellent promo kayfabe and backstage worked kayfabe, much like Mick Foley. Theres also enough legit heat for them to have a nice heel run, they just need to turn over booking power to someone else.

As for WWE, with the rebuilding process well under way and main eventers like Jericho, Edge, Kane, Taker all hinting at close retirement I think there is a definite rush for new blood, the problem is they've addressed the heels with Sheamus/Swagger, but the likes of JoMo/Bourne is't cutting it (Orton is more a limited tweener) so currently there are far too many heels. A Miz vs Sheamus promo? who are the kids supposed to cheer?

Heres my take on the solution: Some of the most over faces to ever emerge started as charismatic heels. Austin, Rock, Triple H, Shawne Michaels, Bret Hart etc and as of right now the most charismatic and engaging heels are Miz, Punk and maybe some of the NXTers. (I don't count Punks original run as a face because he was held back) It seems like Punk is stuck with his current situation and it's feeling stale, Miz was also held back but like the Rock was simply getting too much good heat for creative to ignore.

So there you have it, turn Miz and Punk loose on the mic and watch the crowds move again. ( A new face would also allow Cena to make that long overdue game changing heel turn :D)

  3. - Impact has 1.5 million viewers a week but is only pulling in sub 10,000 ppv buys, by comparison a low end WWE ppv will have 200,000 buys. Also, the Nexus angle has boosted Raw to 2.8, which is around 3.7 million viewers.

    - My take on TNA is that the spots and segments have been great, it's the botched booking thats killed the momentum.

Scott Steiner is fired before Hogan even steps foot in the arena.

Nasty Boys, an ancient fat boy tag team.

Scott Hall and Sean Waltman, DUI's and no-shows. Was anyone surprised?

Bubba the Love Sponge, the reason Kong left, another bad signing.

Sean Morley, goes over Daniels then leaves.

Daniels goes from ppv headliner to jobber to fired.

Abyss' push, even though he had something like 3% of the number 1 contender vote.

Samoa Joe and Hernandez get put on hiatus so they could megapush no-talent Rob Terry.

Bury Homicide along with Hernandez, alienating latin viewers.

Alienating OBD and Awesome Kong, ultimately destroying the once strong womens division

Turn Jeff Hardy and Wolfe into midcarders despite being the two most popular wrestlers in the company.

Theres talk that the 4 sided ring was brought in to accommodate RVD and his turnbuckle mount.

TNA smarks dont like RVD because he badmouthed Daniels and talks about himself all the time.
