      Most criminals will still find a way to get a gun. It will be like prohibition.

      Just look at the United Kingdom. Guns are illegal, you need a permit to even own a BB gun - but somehow, people are still dying from gun related crimes. Far fewer than the States, but still... Guns, like alcohol & marijuana, aren't going anywhere any time soon.
