  1. Theres rumors (unsubstantiated) that Triple H wants Taker for WrestleMania. Edit: Im guessing Sheamus becomes their pre-WM whipping boy.
  2. Don't you weird up my page with foreign hipster crap.
  3. Fourth from the right
  4. Yeah the Xmen poster doesn't look incredible, but its early and looks like an unfinished leak. However I'm big a fan of the cast and the homage to the old school uniform. The Anne Hathaway thing is weird though, shes unique looking but I'm not entirely convinced she has natural sex appeal. It should be interesting to see how she works it under Nolans lens, his movies are always good but he can be hit and miss with his characters.
  5. I was just thinking they needed to expand to 40 or 50, especially after watching dinosaurs like Trips and HBK *groan* squashing all the emerging talent. The RR needs to get original, avoid filler and expand on individual themes as well, if I see Cena clear out 15 midcarders like theyre all pathetic jobbers I wont be buying again.
  6. All roads to the WWE are through FCW now, and they've recently introduced age cap of 30. And theres good news on Trips return, he acknowledged than he doesn't need the title belts to be a main event performer, much like Taker and Cena.
  7. Lol Matt Hardy moves like theres a steel rod bolted to his back.
  8. I think the problem is that it was written for the short term, but in the long term it's memorable. Just like I remember Kane clearing the ring these kids are going to remember Sheamus screaming and running like a girl, theres another shoot where he talks about the long term buildup and fragile nature of the characters. Anyway Nash didnt really kill WCW as it was dying anyway, the costs had spiralled out of control (like flying the 160 strong roster everywhere they went) long before the fingerpoke of doom. Meanwhile, heres how bad things have gotten in TNA Jeff Hardy shoots on CM Punk
  9. A little off topic here: Now I know everyone has their own opinion on Kevin Nash ie being agenda driven wishy washy whatever, he's shoots like no-one else. He hits the nail on the head when it comes to WWE's current direction and character development. (language warning) Nash on Sheamus/Nexus
  10. Yep, the WWE belt is nearly in dark match territory. They're basically saying it's irrelevant without Cena/Orton.
  11. It's not just an imbalance, there is a certain linear predictability to the Smackdown program and it's current booking. Theres no defining purpose, no Nexus etc, everyone just wants to be the best blah blah. The most interesting part about Smackdown was when Trent Baretta missed McIntyre and hit the floor, I knew he was going to job but at least it was different and to me thats sad. Why cant we have more Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks on the mic you know? give us something different instead of Kofi/Rey/Edge clearing the ring.
  12. Not sure why Mark Henry was giving squash duty against Tyson Kidd and his bodyguard. Being one of the very few capable chain wrestlers in the WWE he's the perfect long term opponent for Bryan but oh well, now they both look like jokes. Personally I'd like to see Miz building a stable, eventually turning face so Riley can take over. He's just too beatable and unimposing to be a top heel, he doesn't really give much prestige to the WWE title which is why his Morrison program is mid card.
  13. I believe the pieces are there to recreate the conditions that led to the attitude era, with Triple H taking over the WWE (kayfabe) and taking on McMahons evil corporation leader role... maybe even more Keyser Soze like, and Randy Orton as the new face and reluctant anti hero much like Stone Cold was.
  14. I'm thinking they'll give Morrison another push and he'll win the RR. On a side note I get why MVP wanted out, he was crazy over especially at the start of his WWE run and recently as well... but when was the last time a black wrestler was WWE Champion? Booker? The Rock? back in the Attitude era?
  15. The Barrett/Otunga dialogue reminds me of Megatron/Starscream
  16. The origin.. of the BEAST
  17. I think Riley is too talented not to eventually break out, I can see him eventually usurp Miz as the big mouth on the mic and turn him tweener/face, which suits his limited physical tools.
  18. Maybe, it depends on how they respond to the aftermath of the Pittsburgh game

  19. Sometimes I forget that Punk is doing commentary, when his face isn't on camera its like he becomes a ghost. Also the tweener/face thing he's doing seems uncomfortable to him, just let him be a badass.
  20. Santino and Kozlov? really? Why am I happy about this?....
  21. Lukewarm is being generous, there is no buildup to ppv events.
  22. A.J should have won, but Kaitlyn is the most marketable look.
  23. I will eventually come full circle as the younger fans age but we're still a couple years from the next Attitude era. This PG era is similar to the Golden era from 20 or so years back (although back then there was no internet or smark factor)
  24. With the Miz as champ I have a feeling this is just going to be another booster seat for yet another John Morrison push *snore* actually, I wouldn't mind him so much if his voice and personality didn't remind me of fingernails across a chalkboard.
  25. Hasnt Chavo always been a mascot?
