  1. Terry Crews was the only redeeming quality about Idiocracy (like he is with most movies) it's a weirdly disjointed and quirky social satire, but it's hard to get past the horrible production. Anyone seen Eastern Promises?
  2. I dont know, it seems a little too teen orientated in the trailer.
  3. The problem I see with the Cena/Miz angle is there is no overwhelming adversity for Cena, no odds to overcome. Miz can't match up with Cena in any area.
  4. The Losers was much better than the A Team.
  5. I dont know why, but I love the Bully Ray character.
  6. I'm not sure if I buy the dirtsheet Sheamus/Dunn story, in retrospect it seems like Sheamus has been made irrelevant to avoid shining light on the whole payback arc, allowing Trips to skip Sheamus and book himself into the main event at WM against Taker, which trumps the heavyweight title matches.
  7. Hurt Locker was above average, great acting but not worth the hype. Heres how I rate last years Oscar nominations in order from best to worst: A Serious Man - Subtle yet masterfully underplayed Precious - Incredibly heavy film (excuse the pun) Inglourious ****s - The Christoph Waltz show Hurt Locker - Well acted District 9 - Unique Avatar - CGI vanity piece The Blindside - Wut *Didnt see "An Education"
  8. The Trips/Sheamus and Taker/Barrett angles for WM have been scrapped, but we'll probably see those angles play out at a later date. Not sure why they're burying Sheamus, sure, his push was way too fast but he started looking and acting the part of the monster heel well. Now he's ruined goods just like Swagger.
  9. Saw a flick made in 1959 with Kirk Douglas and Anthony Quinn called "Last Train from Gun Hill", pretty good western considering the age.
  10. I don't get how some people can be so enamoured with Morrison, especially face Morrison. He can't cut a promo to save his life and I can't count how many times he's made a comeback to no reaction, I mean if he's the WWE's resident super spot monkey why does he still botch his finisher?
  11. I have to agree, I've read a lot about how stifling creative is on wrestlers personalities in their character development which is understandable, it puts emphasis on control and keeping the ball and leverage in the WWE's court. But then again we've seen on NXT the real stars ie Barrett will emerge and separate themselves from the pack. Now I'm not totally sold on the Miz yet, his push was too fast, but he's good on the mic and has developed from a bad to very good worker in a short period, Kofi and Morrison haven't shown any improvements.
  12. Being an great athlete doesn't make someone a main event calibre wrestler and it's not as if he's one of a kind, Kofi could pull off any spot Morrison can but the bottom line is neither is ready to headline a PPV.
  13. I'll keep saying this, Punch Drunk Love is the best movie Adam Sandler ever made.
  14. The Crazies is pretty good. Try "Book of Eli" and "The Road", the latter is really depressing though.
  15. A little off topic but I still think some of his best work was with Shawn Stasiak in '01. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTXkMDZSN7w
  16. i watched an old match recently with Trips vs Rock for the IC title back in '97. This was before Rocky became "The Rock". It was surreal how much the crowd hated him and even more surreal when he cut a promo afterwards sounding like another boring face. Who knew?
  17. Beat me to it. Yeah Centurion wasn't great, but you can't tell me you thought the Eagle was going to be a good flick with the dancing white dude from Step Up and Billy Elliot. Revolver is decent, Guy Richie movies are pretty good. I recommend Sunshine as well, I honestly think Danny Boyle is the best director in the world.
  18. i agree, Punk is too talented to just be a main event whipping boy. He's like the new Jericho.
  19. They needed a boost, WM was in danger of being a midcardfest.
  20. Theres talk about him getting outpopped by Booker, even though that crowd would have popped for Doink the Clown. Maybe they should do some research on the loud crowds for future announcements.
  21. Marky Mark in any role is rarely good news. The Fighter could have been a slam dunk for Oscar nominations with a good actor. Did anyone see that brittish movie "Monsters" heard it's similar to District 9, right now I'm waiting on J.J Abrams new flick Super 8
  22. Run Lola Run is good from what I remember, even the Simpsons did a little homage. Rented "How to train your dragon" the other day and it was really good, Pixar good.
  23. I saw both of those lists a few days ago, they're incredibly bad. Probably not as bad as the WWE rewriting history and saying Triple H has the highest selling Tshirt.
  24. With Statham you know exactly what you're getting.
