    Good movie, but he just played a drunk version of his usual self. The John Goodman comedy sketches were weird and so was the music arrangement, it was like watching a Steven Soderbergh movie.

    Seven Psychopaths - 7/10. I like Sam Rockwell, but he was too distracting in what could have been a classic black comedy.

    I've been on it, everything close to the window is a blur of color. When we win the car horns and burners you hear aren't going to be because of horrendous drivers... well, most won't be.

    Silver Linings Playbook is a damn good movie, not quite Punch Drunk Love but pretty close and Chris Tucker in his once every 5 years role.

    I watched Jackie Brown (2007) again aka Tarantino's forgotten movie. For a director who loves loud blaxploitation it's really low key and subtle.

    I guess you would need a basic understanding of Hindu to get that, I figured if the story is a most likely an allegory and metaphor then the island represented hopelessness. I watched "This is 40" that was pretty bad. Judd Apatow is like the new M. Night Shyamalan, just slowly regressing.

    When I watched a trailer for Flight I figured out what the whole film would be about. A lot of films are too predictable these days.

    The Oscars are fairly high end and elitist so no surprises that Tarantino and his schtick don't get the nod, and nobody likes Ben Affleck on screen. But I'd like to hear jon on the matter.
