I was born and raised in Baltimore; grew up watching the Baltimore Colts; my Dad along with the rest of Baltimore loved Johnny Unitas; as a kid I use to love listening to the games on the radio with Chuck Thompson and Vince Bagli and the hearing Art Donovan on Monday nights tell stories of the great Colts team; I attended the Baltimore Colts last home game at Memorial Stadium versus the Houston Oilers (very cold day), I went alone, I was their to see Curtis Dickey, I didn't know at the time it would be the last time I would see the team I grew up idolizing. I remember what it was like to lose our team The Baltimore Colts and when the Ravens moved to Baltimore I became a season ticket holder, I love being a fan of this team! I moved from Baltimore in 1998 and have lived in Dallas, Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas, San Antonio and now California, always loyal to the Baltimore Ravens! I try to catch at least one game at M&T each year, usually in September so I can see the O's too and the crabs are big and fat! I miss living in Baltimore, tailgating with family & friends but I supported the Ravens from wherever I lived. I listen to Sirius NFL radio, watch the games on NFL Rewind, listen to Baltimore radio broadcast on Field Pass, check the Ravens site daily!
Also kudos to my Mom, she video taped every game and mailed it to me from 1998 when I moved away, until 2009 when I got NFL rewind - talk about devotion. Love you Mom!
Recently (10/13/2010) I was invited by Kazy to join some other Baltimore fans in Los Angeles to watch the games. These folks are passionate about the Baltimore Ravens and even have their own web page http://TheWestWingLA.com/
In just the short time I've been attending games at The Parlor we are gaining momentum thanks to the devotion of our founders (Peter, Daniela, Kazy and Chris), we are hopeful for a Ravens Roost and I know they are working on that - in the meantime we are going to represent the Ravens with all the respect and class that is "The West Wing".
