No no no Courtney. One steak dinner isn't going to do it. Don't forget the wife and me. It was not easy for us either. I expect there will be about 100,000 more. Ruths Chris/Prime Rib at about 50 a pop. We will pay for our drinks because we are decent and understand that about 5 mil is fair and equitable. E-mail me time and date. Thanks.....and it's a good thing we won, with your help and most important sack. Man I'm hungry! I've been a Baltimore football fan since the Colts came to Baltimore. Have seen the great highs and some lows: Colts through the Ravens, but never have I been more proud of my home team than today. Great effort and victory, but I was not totally surprised for we have always played good tough integrity laced Baltimore football.
Kevin, you've done it again. Very cool. Terrell is far more than a great football player; thanks for showing his many sides. Happy New Year!
The rivalry continues. Every once in a while one of the teams has a off year. Rebuilding year so to speak. This year it was expected to be the Stealers. Well that's not what happened. The Ravens fell on their face while the Steelers exceeded expectations. The rivalry continues as the Ravens can be Steelers spoilers. I expect a great rivalry game expecting the Ravens with a chance to upset late in the game. I'm taking the points. Go Ravens! Yep I'm betting on Harbaugh and the boys.
Mr. Brown has shown at least 2 very important attributes for a receiver; he gets separation and catches the ball. That along with his, I belong here...I can do this, small school attitude; makes him well worth watching and rooting for.
6.6 million in dead money to get rid of that bum. That would be the first good move the Ravens have made in quite some time. Next... the coaching staff (not coach Harbaugh) followed by Webb.
SIGN HIM!!.....please. Someone, anyone, who can throw the ball within 20 feet of the intended.
Monroe cashed in. He's not a football player as he showed the first week we got him. He didn't want to play and didn't because he was not comfortable. No football player would ever say that.
A sad sad great story. It overwhelmed again today as it did in May. Go Ravens!
Coach Harbaugh acts like the game means something. The Browns, meaningless. Play the dude. Sink or swim. Enough of babying draft choices the the Ravens dud as "super stars" before they play a single down. Play ball as we prepare for next season.
Kindle, Elam, Perryman, that along with all our coaches who have gone to be head coaches.....these are the reason we find ourselves in the position we are in. Sprinkle in the incompetent refs and you have our current disaster.
Coach Harbaughs' press conference? Man is he in lala land. Fumbles, interceptions, dropped interceptions, penalties galore, and then "the" face mask, with the game over, WHAT!! Harbaugh is backing his troops like a bunch of babies. They had 2 week to prepare for the worst team in football at home. They were a disgrace....special teams, offense (Q-B terrible), defense, coaching; they were bad from the start to the half when they unbelievably got worse. Coach has lost the team. Oh well he has the rest of the year to gather his troops and start to get ready for 2016. We have all had days like this and it never feels good. That's why there is a TOMORROW. Go Ravens....we will be watching and rooting next week.
This is great. Terrance comes to us after getting some much needed seasoning. As we all know he was very exciting at Towson. He has earned this shot and I look forward to seeing TW in action with the Ravens.
You knew Monroe was a bad trade the 1st week he was here or you were not looking. He has laid down here since his 1st day. Who knew Kubiac was sooooo good? You could see last years' Ravens offense in the very good Broncos' offense last night. Shame he got away. Thanks Ravens for a great effort yesterday that came wrapped with a "W".
He will not miss any games? Nothing good can come of that. He must have been surrounded by great players at Florida, because here he can't tackle, cover passes, or even take a correct angle. So I say "smoke em up, dude". Then there is Sunday......and the Ravens will rise. Oh yeah!! Their BACK.
For all the fans who are lucky enough to be in M&T Bank Stadium this Sunday; CONGRATULATIONS!....for it's going to be a great day. Our hard working, leave their blood and guts on the field every game are coming home to a rousing (and I mean really rousing) standing ovation that will last for a loooong time. It's well deserved and they deserve no less. Our season now is to build for next year and be spoilers to some of our favorite nemesis...Steelers, Cincy etc. All of which will make the rest of the season enjoyable and well worth watching. Enjoy Sunday, it will be special.
Treatman is gone. A complete offensive failure. Enough of Smith...Smith...Smith already. As a trade he is worth a 6th round pick, period. There is a reason the Panthers got rid of him. Very good player but not any longer worth the headache. Success followed quickly. Ravens top flaw...we make to many players great before they earn their first stripe. Which leads to disappointment after disappointment after disappointment. Tough season, it happens. We can't keep replacing most important coaches year after year and expect success. It's all finally caught up to us. Well we now have 10 months to straighten it all out. Sounds good. Go Ravens....give the Cardinals a good game tonight and surprise the country.....again as we usually do.
I didn't see anything about Joe. Is Flacco going to show-up and play? Still making a mention of Perriman. Why? Being on the injured list of the Ravens....not a bad place to be. We've got a long way to go for nothing.
Joe, as you know, for this season the time to rise has come and gone. Be ready to rise when the season begins next year. Leadership is something that is constant, but raises when needed.
On the interception thrown to no-where. Joe was saying.....I don't care and really don't want to be here. Then he comes out in the 2nd half and plays fairly well. Its like Groundhogs Day. Don't care, play well, LOSE another close one. Anyone who didn't know the season was over last week....knows it now. Go Ravens, we will be watching and rooting next week, and hope we live to see next season.
Babin was the worst pick-up in Raven history. The guy showed he was not ready to play NFL football, and yet he was put on the active rooster to fail. He did that BIG TIME. Adding Babin was the 3rd big mistake this year. 1st was letting Tyrod go and signing a over-the-hill never won anything Q-B. 2nd was the Perriman fiasco. Not getting ahead of that rather then letting it drag on and on and on. Maybe we couldn't have kept Tyrod; even so he was a positive force in the locker room and on the field that has been missed.
We all love Joe. Now in ALL 4 loses the Ravens have had the ball inside the 10 yard line (first and 10), late and for the win, and Joe has gone 0 for 4 in definite winning situations. He's horrible. Today out of his last 8 passes he threw 6 out of bounds. REALLY....you can't do any worse than that. The new OC is useless; in fact he is worse than useless. Now that it is over, I feel so sorry for the Raven organization from top to bottom. What are they going to do? What do they play for? There are 11 meaningless games to be played. They were supposed to be in the Super Bowl. What do they do starting tomorrow? It's all about staying healthy and cashing the pay checks. It's been a great long run by a top organization, and I've enjoyed the ride. Today they were the far better team. Once they got the lead Joe laid down....no fire with a chance to put the game away. It was plain as day, you could see it before halftime. It's a shame, but it happens sometimes. There I'll be next Sunday....watching and rooting (although I'm not sure what for)....guess clawing to be .500. Go Ravens!!
On Perriman, "That's when you will know he's got a CHANCE to come back and play. There is a fly in the ointment. The Ravens are going to go on just fine with or without him. He has the talent, and we all hope he gets the chance to show it for as long as he wants.
No mention of Crockett. We all know the rest. What's up with Crockett?
It is days later and we are all still fired-up. How is that possible at 1 and 3? That's our Ravens! And you hit the major point.....there is no quit in the Ravens; they never give up. That starts at the top and drips through the entire organization all the way to the fans. Go you Baltimore Ravens. Go!

If during the season your team is looking at draft picks next spring, your team is a losing football organization. That certainly is not the Ravens. Last Sundays victory was so great and so well deserved, it was savored by us all. looking forward lets draft far smarter than the recent past. But for now....BEAT the Bengals. Go Ravens!
