  1. Thanks to the schedule the Ravens proved they are a .500 team against the 2nd tier of the NFL. So many areas need help (speed, football IQ etc.), it's going to take a few years if Steve starts NOW. That said, the Ravens are exciting, tough, and never give up. The Steelers game last week was a classic; a true classic of forever. Yeah, it absolutely destroyed Christmas night, and almost the entire week that followed. It was a great game played by great players and coaches. So how can we complain? GO RAVENS!

  2. Elam can hardly walk down a street without falling down. One of the worst 1st round draft picks ever. Hester has been a bust from day one with the Ravens. He was afraid to catch the ball and back-off while not trying to block a defender. Both should be ex Ravens....now. Weddle in complete la la land with the game on the line. Weddle positives do out weigh his ageing negatives. Miami just laid a egg last week and made us look far better than we are. Steelers probably favored by 4 1/2 on Christmas day, and rightfully so. Could be 7 1/2. Ravens far to ridged on both offence and defense. They run the play, as to winning teams that adjust to current conditions, hence.....big plays. Dumervil, the most over paid player in football. Go Ravens!

  3. Poor rich happy Joe. He made a huge mistake today.......he hit a receiver in STRIDE for a TOUCHDOWN. No..no...no...no, It's not a joke' it really happened. Whoa whoa, relax. he has already said he'll never make that mistake again. So here we are in 1st place and happily looking forward to Thursday. Great! Good hard fought game and excellent tackling by the D-backs. Go Ravens!

  4. "Killer instinct"? You have to know what you are doing before you can have a "killer instinct". Calling a time-out before a punt....and that is just the tip of the iceberg. Joe's shoulder.....stop the whinning and put another Q-B in there. Really they can hardly do any worse. Dumervil? The most over-paid do nothing player in football today. Ever since we got buffaloed with that signing it's been straight down hill. We can beat the Steelers but need players in there who want to play, hit hard, and have fun. Come on coaches, earn your pay, make the tough calls. Sunday was a low point in Raven history....although you could see it coming from a mile away. We draft horribily and have to live on unsigned free agents. How has that done for us? Yeah, I know.....God bless Justin Tucker. Go Ravens!

Some one answer this please. Late in the game The Skins hiked th4e ball over the head of the Q-B. He ran and pick up the ball, out side of the tackle box, then threw it at least 7 yards short of the line of scrimmage. To me that was grounding, but no call. It was so blatant I must be wrong.

    Receiver was "in the vicinity"

Of course. Thank you, I will take a look at that.

  6. Our 1st 5 games to start this season have been against teams that the St. Pauls Girls School football team would beat. We have been completely out-coached and out played by far inferior teams every game. Sorry to say....the time has come for a house cleaning from Oz through John to the entire staff. It's over as we are incompetent at everything with the one exception....field goals and punting. Go Ravens!

  7. Boy, the Broncos really bambozzled the Ravens with Dumervil. The guy is hurt 70% of the time, and when he plays he plays 1 out of every 4 downs. One of the most over-paid/over-rated players in football. Why are we even talking about Perriman? Finally Campanaros gone...whew!. Like that didn't take forever. The Ravens stay married to these players far to long. They either play or they are out of the conversation. Whinning about players that don't play is for losers. You hear the Patriots whinning about players who don't play. Of course not.... they are winners.

  8. The Bills mistakes won the game for the Ravens. The Ravens did all they could to lose the game, but couldn't overcome all the Bills gifts. Poor effort for a home opener. The secondary did stand out, and that is a great place to start our rebuilding process. We should be MUCH sharper next week against a poor team. 1 and 0, way to go. We didn't play the starters in pre-season and it showed.....big time. Go Ravens!

  9. Everyone feels bad for Breshad. As for the Ravens this comes as no surprise. They knew, half way through last season, his return was highly questionable. He has proved nothing on the football field, and will probably go down as the worst 1st round pick ever. That's it........move on.....no more about Breshad; at least until he is on the field in a real NFL game. Last season Perriman, Perryman, Perriman.....nothing, nothing, nothing. Not this season. Lets move on right away while wishing him the best.

If he's good enough to make the team, the Navy will work something out so he can play in the NFL and fulfill his obligation. There is precedence. Having a player in the NFL is good PR for Navy Football, which will bring better recruits and fill the stands. Navy will make this work.

I agree. I have to believe the Navy would make an exception for the guy that scored the most TDs & Points in the history of college football...

Totally agree. A Midshipman returning a kick-off for a touchdown on national tv with thousands of replays. Wow! The Navy couldn't pay for all that positive press. All that plus the fans will cheer, root, and love this Navy football player.

  11. Veeeerrrrrrry interesting. We still don't know if he is running yet. Just running...nothing fancy. After the Kindle, Elam mistakes the Perriman situation is serious. He's basically been unavailable to the media for 8 months. Why? Hey! We all hope he comes out playing blazing fast with a long wonderful career. By the way, who is blaming Perriman; it's the front office I have my eye on in these deals. Go Ravens!

  12. Ever since Imus went off the TV I don't turn on the TV in the morning. With the exception of 8am Sunday morning on the NFL channel. Brian is on. I really like him and his football expertise. About Big Ben BINGO....he hit the nail right on the head. Brian was the perfect coach for our 2000 Super Bowl team. Great defense along with Marvin Lewis, but it was the leader that said " we're going down to Tampa and kick the door in".....and they did. Huge Super Bowl for Baltimore as it started the healing of the many wounds the NFL had put on the great football town of Baltimore.
