  1. First of all. Flacco had not have beeen the highest paid qb- only Oz and DaCosta would do that- he is not elite. If he was elite, he would win more games on his own, and he simply can't carry the team like an elite qb. Secondly, I've been saying that this team doesn't make the playoffs in 16 or 17. We will see Oz get the can at the end of this year or by 17. The team is full of holes, dead money, and old players- our FAs we picked up this Summer are old- we are already old...
  2. We talking about Perriman? LOL
  3. We're talking about John Urschel everyone...... at least he's smart enough to not get arrested or do drugs like some of the other players on this team- can't believe we still have all these issues - we must not being doing enough research on our players.... maybe Oz has to stop reading too much into Twitter feeds of potential players and do some other kind of research..
  4. Oz sure knows how to pick'em
  5. Did Pees say Elam is going to be All Pro this year? They may look good because they are going up against 2nd tier receivers, save for Wallace. We aren't making the playoffs again until 2017 or 2018.
  6. hopefully he doesnt run his car into another wall while coming to camp
  7. But we did sign Weddle and Watson, proven veterans. SSS is just as durable as boldin before last year so you cant predict injuries like that. If boldin gets hurt this year, your statement would be determined invalid. Also, please get your facts right before you criticize Ravens FO. Ravens did NOT release Torrey smith, he was a free agent and got paid more than he is worth. It is part of business, you can't keep everyone every year. Every teams deal with this The champions learn how to replace them and know who which to keep under the cap space. combined, weddle, watson and sss are 120 years old- this team needs younger and better talent- time to get a new gm?
  8. So the Ravens put news out there yesterday that we were in "talks" with "several teams" to trade Eugene Monroe- and the day after, we release him for nothing- I've been telling everyone that this team has been going down, esp over the past five years with poor drafts/ poor free agent signings. We also didn't draft the best left tackle because of some concerns- stop reading college players twitter feeds, Oz, and just select the best damn player- we were all stupid college kids and we all made mistakes- now we got a softie left tackle and Flaccos is trembling right now. We got nothing for a starting left tackle- maybe it was his marijuana stance that had Harbs go ape crap-- we had a thug reputation, but that marijuana argument had some legs to it. By the way, here's a recent article on past drafts. We will miss the playoffs again this year because the team has no talent- just old talent, and Flacco aint elite. When we miss the playoffs this year, it'll be the third time in four years that we didn't show up in the playoffs. The Squeelers are usually consistent and are better than us, the Bungals are now better than us as well- we're basically just a little better than RG3's team, and that team has always been a mess. http://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/2016/6/14/11925266/has-the-baltimore-ravens-drafting-declined
  9. well said.
  10. The MRI showed a possible torn meniscus, which for college and professional athletes usually results in having the meniscus reattached and requires a lengthy rehabilitation period. Maryland basketball player Dion Wiley sustained a torn meniscus prior to the opening of the 2015-16 season. Wiley missed the entire season and only recently was cleared to resume workouts.
  11. Imagine if Perriman gets hit: Balt Sun: The injury apparently occurred after Perriman caught a pass on a back shoulder fade during one of the drills, went down without any contact and continued to practice. Thats two knees in less than a year for a player who hasn't played one game. If he injures himself without even getting hit, imagine the injuries he'll get when does get hit- Honestly, this young man deserves better, and like Pitta, I hope he battles through it. We need to get someone else though to start picking during drafts- I think now it's a given, esp after we took a soft left tackle and the other tackle in Miami is really impressing everyone- Oz can read the twitter feeds on prospects all day, it doesn't take a genius to do that, but remember, we were all kids in college once, and we all did stupid things..
  12. You forgot Elam. yeah, he did forget Elam- that was pretty bad too
  13. I miss Torrey too- I followed him from MD, and it's one of the reasons I became stronger fan of the Ravens. Since Oz decided to let him walk, I can't imagine no one else wanted him to leave, out team has just gone south- we miss his plays, his speed and his leadership. Since he left, and since this team has stunk over the past couple of years, my family is happier on Sundays because now I spend time with them- no sense in wasting 3 hrs of my time getting frustrated at what this team has become- draft good character players my a_ _. Ray Rice was supposed to be good character and we later found out how good his left hook was. To be honest, when Torrey left and seeing all the bad FA/ Draft decisions over the yeas, a part of me left as well. The team down the road, which I grew up with, looks pretty tight though even though the owner is the worst in the league (he's improving though).
  14. Let's not forget about Pitta too
  15. That would've been Harb's interpretation - lol
  16. We're not blaming Perriman - we're blaming Oz and DaCosta
  17. Elam, Perriman? Perriman who? He sees the hospital bed more than he sees grass
  18. He missed like three total games in three years in college, so... Also, Eric DeCosta learned from who? Oh, right, Ozzie. So if we replace Ozzie with DeCosta, we'll basically have... Ozzie. time to move on from them both-
  19. I posted that Orlando Stentinel article a while back too when we drafted him- Oz thought we could replace Torrey with this guy- smh... He can't even get on the field and see what happened to our offense when Torrey left. Speaking of not being able to draft well, we took a softie of a left tackle- check this out- he's highly motivated and doing well (another mistake by Oz): http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miami-dolphins/fl-dolphins-main-0608-20160607-story.html all these poor drafts (bad free agent signings ie Monroe way too much $$) have left us in a terrible spot- stop giving Bama players a chance (Richardson - two teams have already passed on him), and lets start to draft better and get younger w/ free agent signings- we are the worst at drafting safeties and tight ends, and we seem to forget about drafting corners on draft day. The team down South, about 45 -min away, has a rock star team with a lot of studs. We have bad cap management and a lot of duds.
  20. Our line is an absolute mess- Flacco will stink again because he won't have time to throw, and Forsett will also net 2 yards per carry because the line can't push anyone forward.
  21. Nice story- I hope this young man makes it in both life and the football field. This might be his last chance. With that said, I always wondered how we ended up with him on our roster, or why him, then after reading this article it became quickly apparent that he's a 'Bama boy, from Oz's alma mater. Go figure... Anyhow, I wish him well and hope things work out. We will need all the help we can get with this team - I don't see us making the playoffs until 2017 or 2018. I think Harbs is a good coach but doesn't have much to work with- I think that's both his fault and Oz/ Eric's fault. This team has gotten older and does not impose fear anymore like the good old days.
  22. Glad to hear missing man Perriman's father is doing better. Personally, I think Harbs would be ranked higher if he focused on coaching and not whining/ trying to catch cheats/ trying to beat the system either. Also, he can't all be blamed because Eric and Oz gave him a mess of a roster these last couple of years- he can only do so much with such old and below average talent- we don't have any base because we've drafted poorly over the past five years, and we've missed on not all but a lot of free agents (e.g. safety and wr positions)
  23. Ozzie didn't make this team significantly better this year- I say we go 6-10 this year. We overpaid an aging safety and an aging TE. The line is questionable and Breshard who? Elam who? Arthur Brown who? Suggs is old and Dums is getting up there... Flacco is Flacco, probably overpaid on him. While he doesn't stink, he's not elite- otherwise, he would've willed a couple of wins last year on his own. To his defense, Oz didn't really give him any receivers to work with last year- injuries are an excuse. Washington also had a bunch of injuries, but they made it to the playoffs last year with a QB that they paid $600k last year, although he's going to get $20M this year. The team down south also got a shut down corner in Norman, and what did Oz do during FA? Exactly... nothing, our secondary will suck again next year- same old defense- definitely not the Ravens of how we knew them in the past when people actually feared us- that team is now the Bronco's defense. We've also fallen back behind the Squeelers and the Bungals- talent wise. Eric and Oz shouldn't be given a lifetime pass- this team doesn' t make the playoffs this year either- sorry folks.
  24. This year is just like the past 5 year's draft- yawn.... We took a chance on Will Hill for smoking weed, who was an okay player, but we won't take a chance on Tunsil? You have to be kidding me, Oz. We draft afraid, and everyone knows it- this draft will set us back from the playoffs for another year- we don't make the playoffs until 2018 now. Everyone knows that drafts are what builds championship teams- with the past five drafts, we're in too big of a hole for us to get out - plus Oz loves to sign old free agents, like Weddle, Watson, and Steve Smith- we need to get younger, not older. I'm surprised Oz didnt draft a TE or a Safety- he usually does every year. And again, he has amnesia on the CB position- I can't believe this guy and Eric DaCosta still have a job- if I ad 5 years of bad performance, I would've gotten fired from my job a long time ago- we used to be a perennial playoff team, now we don't even consistently go anymore- the Bungals have overtaken us and so has the Squeelers. We are just an avg team now, and now the Redskins are better than us and are a team on the rise.
  25. LOL- then in the 4th-5th year, one of these guys become good, at best, and then he'll go to another team because we won't be able to afford him bc of poor cap management or bc Oz doesn't want to overpay
