Guys, we started Kamar Aiken and Marlon Brown- this doesn't happen on any other NFL team. Ozzie has got to start valuing the WR position (no more "rent a receiver" mentality)- then Flacco might become elite, then Flacco may actually get his timing down like the way Brady and gronk have their timing down. Oz needs to rethink his philosophy and actually start to draft corners and receivers with higher draft picks

We made Josh McCown, yes Josh McCown, look like he was Payton Manning versus a high school defense. Our secondary still sucks from last year- how come nothing was done to really improve our secondary when everyone knew this was an issue? Why Oz?

So Ozzie burns a 1st round pick on safety Matt Elam, and the following year he burns a 3rd round pick in another safety, Terrence Brooks. You would think that one of them would've been a decent starter, but both are terrible. Ozzie- please don't draft any more safeties or WRs or Corners. This is why Pees is up all night because you can't give him the tools to succeed.

Don't solely blame Pees- he doesn't have anyone to work with.

I don't know why Ozzie spent gave so much money to Eugene Monroe- he's not that good, and he's like Webb and Smith- always injured- he should be the last one to talk. Franky, we don't have the personnel to make the playoffs- no corners, no legit WR and only one good safety in Will Hill- I'll give Ozzie credit for Will Hill but not for much else. Our draft choices over the past 4-5 years have not been real contributors- so something wrong is happening in that war room.

We can blame Pees, but I think some blame has to go to Ozzie as well- I don't have anything out for the man, but he's not drafted well recently. If Pees had better corners and better safeties (Will Hill is the only good player and Jimmy Smith is not a shut down corner), then maybe we don't have to play so far off the WRs or play zone. Everyone and their mother knew CB was a big issue for us last year and this year, yet Ozzie did nothing about it. Also, he did nothing with our WRs as well. He probably thought we had stud WRs since they were beating up our scrub corners- that's the most hilarious part about this fiasco of a season. Oz needs to stop drafting TEs, lineman, and linebackers and instead draft some CBs with the first or second round pick. I'm glad for once this past year that he didn't take anyone from his alma mater, Bama.

I wonder how Byrne and Eisenhower are going to spin this embarrassing loss--- I don't think you can- I think they should start writing some articles about really trying to address the secondary next year (ahem, Matt Elam) by using their first three picks next year on CBs..

For a team that's always prided ourselves on defense, and a hard running game, it sure looks like we've lost our identity. I don't think we've had a top five defense in a while, and since Kubs left, we can't run downhill with a tiger chasing us. Oz has to do a better job at drafting and can't expect his philosophy of "renting a receiver/ cornerback for that matter" to help us win championships. Who cares if we have all these comp picks at the end of the year if: 1) we can't replace our studs leaving, and 2) Oz can't draft anyone good to replace our good players. We're the only team in the NFL with scrub receivers and scrub corners save for SSS and Jimmy Smith- even those two aren't great and arguably could be # 2s on other teams- yet Ozzie likes to spend big money on players who are past their prime or players who get injured all the time. Scot McLoughan, in his first year as Washington's GM, has made the most of his picks and most of his picks are contributing in a big way this year. meanwhile, we have 3rd stringer receivers who are our number 1 receivers today with SSS out- SMH

I'm shocked. Never did I think we'd actually lose to the Browns- at home. How come everyone last year and this year knew our secondary was an issue but Ozzie? Do you think we could've trusted Webb to be injury free this year when he's injured every year (same thing with Jimmy Smith). With either or both out, that leaves us with 0 or at best one decent (not shut down) corner? At least we'll get some higher, earlier draft picks next year- I bet Bisciotti also won't let Harbs keep Pees around next year- that's for sure. All along as I said even before the year started (bc Ozzie didn't address corners/ WRs), we we should've never been considered superbowl contenders- rather, we're superbowl pretenders. Our last 3-4 drafts have mostly 'overall' been busts- we don't have any starting corners or talented WRs because Ozzie typically doesn't like to use high picks on Corners and WRs - and when he does, he picks the frail ones (J Smith and Perriman). Please let Ozzie just pick linebackers and lineman but every other position- let's give DaCosta a shot- he can't do any worse. Scott McCloughan is doing a great job for the other team down the beltway.

Scot McCloughan hands down- if Bisciotti understands that we can't all be perfect forever, he'd give Scot a call and convince him to come to the Ravens. He's done an awesome job with the Redskins and his picks are actually playing (ahem Matt Elam, Perriman, Pitta, etc..)

Hands down, no comparison- Scot McCloughan He's turned around the Redskins in one draft and already has lower draft picks being huge contributors to the Redskins turnaround (e.g. Crowder, actually a WR and we know Oz can't draft any good WRs). He would actually draft much better than Oz - even if we have all these comp picks, what's it matter when we can't use any of these picks? Besides Mosely, we have't drafted a pro bowler in like 8 years (ahem Matt Elam anyone?)

I didn't have us in the Super Bowl either- Ozzie never addressed the corner back position, and he didn't properly address the other skill position, WR. That's why we're having issues with our corners getting burned and having no deep threats on our team. We didn't even have a punt returner figured out recently until now- I would definitely have to say Ozzie has been slipping over the past five years. Who on earth would have a 36 yr old receiver as the best receiver on the team- after SSS, there's a huge drop off. Ozzie is not known for picking WRs, so how could we even think he would've hit with Perriman to be Torrey's replacement. Besides Mosely, I don't think Ozzie has made a pro bowl pick in some time- plus, he can't draft good safeties (Elam and Brooks? Come on 'man) and corners outside of Jimmy Smith (but it was rare for Ozzie to even spend a high pick on a corner). I say you let Ozzie just pick lineman and linebackers and let Costa pick the rest. Forsett and Tucker weren't Ozzie finds either

Kind of funny, Byrne. I thought it was funny how the first two questions you asked Jamal Lewis were about Ray Lewis and the Ravens defense at the time. As much as everyone loves Ray and likes to live in the glory days, we really have to move on from Ray Lewis. I know it's hard because we don't have an emotional, stud leader on the current team, but we just have to live outside of Ray's shadow- I thought it was a bit odd to dedicate your first two questions to Ray/ Balt Defense. No offense- I usually like your inside stories though, so keep trying.

Flacco is franchise but he's not elite- blame Ozzie for not giving him studs to throw to if you want to reference Gronk

Ozzie likes to "rent a receiver." And when he does have a good receiver, he doesn't want to pay the (e.g. Torrey and Anquan). Only on our team would we be showcasing two undrafted WRs for this Sunday's game. In Ozzie we trust (for drafting lineman and linebackers) but not anything else.

Oh, I thought this was an article about Flacco missing Anquan and Torrey, our last two legitimate receivers aside from SSS Flacco is probably wishing someone else was picking his WRs than Oz- no offense, Oz. You're good at drafting lineman though.

First Elam, and then Camp-- at least both of them weren't significant contributors. Elam is probably doing us a favor by being out for the season... Camp, get better, but you might want to gain some more bulk.. So close, yet so far away..

Torrey Smith never missed a game, even when his bro passed. I don't think Anquan missed a game either... So sad to see those two go...

This is why Ozzie shouldn't be drafting wide receivers.. Let Ozzie draft the lineman and linebackers because he's good at that, but don't let him draft anyone else- let DaCosta do that- he can't do any worse than Oz - Matt Elam who? Come on man!
