  1. maybe not a rental, but we need someone, SSS is gone after this season, and you were wrong. Bears have more Dead Money in cap space than we do. So for them to just cut ppl and get a new team and give Jeffery a huge contract. im not too sure.
  2. im just saying its worth a phone call from our FO to theirs.
  3. Darren Waller has played every game so far and missed both throws his way and struggles to get seperation. we need a vet who has some reps. maybe jeffery cant work. but there are a couple other teams out there that might trade a player thats sitting lower than they should be on the depth chart, Jaron Brown from AZ could be a good upgrade, well anyways over what we got.
  4. the guy is a free agent next season unless the bears plan on tagging him. I think you could get him for a 3rd pick. he was a 2nd round draft pick so no 5th year option too pick up for the bears. The bears have way too many holes too fill to give him a huge contract. I dont think they want to lose him and get nothing in return
  5. He's worth more, but he's with a new coach and gm who have no attachment to him. some of these guys getting traded for low round picks, are worth mid round picks. like said bears are having a fire sale and Jeffery has been hurt. Probably not a good first impression on Fox and Pace. Marshall was traded for a 5th round pick. i dont see why would couldn't get Jeffery for a 3 or 4th
  6. i am sure you can get him for a mid round pic, which we will get back with the comp picks did you forget the end of the super bowl season? oh yeah we went on a 3 game losing streak. have some faith.. The AFC looks pretty darn weak this year aside a couple teams, 9-7 probably could get you a wildcard spot
  7. I say we make a play for alshon Jeffery. the price is worth the one year rental, he already knows the terminology and the bears are having a fire sale
  8. manofsteel - We could get rid of jimmy smith like you say. but Webb, Arrington, Hill, Lewis and from what we saw of Melvin yesterday are playing much much worse. Lewis might be just as bad as Michael Huff was.
  9. Asmodeus71 - I just dont get Monroe, he was solid in Jax, as soon as he signs with us its like he became webb jr.
  10. good news. as long as he can stretch the field thats all we need
  11. stampedehero - huh? the Giants won the superbowl in 2007 after starting 0-2, i believe a couple teams the season after started 0-2 and made it to the play offs
  12. Webb and Arrington were just too small to handle those tall WR of Oak,we need to get bigger at CB, 2 5'10 guys covering 6'2/ 6'4 guys got picked on all day. we really could've used Melvin and Babin in that game
  13. can Babin play the position? From what i've known of Babin he always played DE, never heard of him playing standing up. For some players that is a hard position change.
  14. RavensFootballFan - FYI Jacoby was injured yesterday and looks like he will be out awhile. So looks like a good move by the OZ on that one. On Monroe, i dont get that guy, never hurt in JAX and when he gets here nothing but injuries and sub par play.
  15. bozo - i am not so sure, I know it was only preseason. but PM wasn't looking to good when throwing the ball
  16. Fastynart - Do you not watch football? #3 corners are basically starters these days. Nickel & Dime backs are in the game 60-70% of the time these days.
  17. 757RavensFan - then they shouldve never took him in the first round
  18. bluehen - when he slammed his knee on the first day of practice, it aggravated the condition. IF our FO knew prior to the draft then it was a bad pick, if they didnt know then they didnt do their homework good enough.
  19. he's 5'10 this website had an article about that
  20. 757RavensFan - Seems like a toss up. If it will be Pitta or Perriman on IR-DR
  21. ESPN is such a joke with their rankings why even post them. How could anyone rate Russel Wilson higher than a tier 3 is mind boggling.
  22. i know gilmore didn't get a lot of passes his way last season, but i dont think he had a drop. maybe one, but i cant remember any. He seems to have a good set of hands.
  23. Why no mention that torrey will line up against 3 of the best secondary's twice a year (ironically SF is the weakest in the NFC west)
  24. Denver will always have a home field advantage, they could have the crappiest team in the league and still will have the advantage due to the high altitude, you can't breathe there lol
  25. they should make all rookies watch "espn films 30 for 30: Broke"
