I like it, especially for the minimum $ he'll get. Competition is good. Everyone was down on Forsett when we first signed him because he had done nothing and look how great that turned out. Plus, how much exactly did Forsett do his first 3+ years in the League? This guy was a #3 pick. His potential is sky-high (though I admit I'm not optimistic about him achieving that). Re Ray Rice, I think he should have been given a second chance before Greg Hardy, but unfortunately, the Ravens are the lone team that cannot do it due to how much we went thru before and will again if we were to re-sign him.

I hate seeing pictures of this guy - or any opponent - featured on the Ravens' site over and over.

Not trying to slam you here - I just found humor that this could be paraphrased as, "social security helps others. Maybe I should become a member of the clergy just so I don't have to help others."

We beat the 49ers in the Super Bowl by 3 points with a kicker who was perfect under that pressure. The previous year, we lost the AFC Championship game because our kicker couldn't hit from 32 yards under pressure. We beat the Steelers this year in our first meeting only because our kicker was far superior to theirs. Tucker has hit from 61 yards to win the game with that pressure on him. Kickers are missing more extra points than ever while Tucker has been perfect. I could go on and on. I think those who think he is not worth the money to keep either have zero memory or have no clue how crucial a great kicker can be to a team's success.

I was wondering why try KO at left tackle when we already can't afford him. I now think the reason is to get a higher 2017 comp pick when he inevitably leaves, since a good LT would elicit the highest possible comp pick.

Hopefully, having real grass will help cut down on that a bit. As far as Monroe is concerned, I'm happy to have him go to IR so that he doesn't risk getting even more banged up over the remaining few, at this point meaningless, games.

I look at these moves lately as positives. Playoffs are not going to happen, so don't take further risks with injuries like Zuttah's. I choose to blame Babin for the loss. Anyone who measurably does more harm than good needs to go. Even I could have been in there doing just as little good, but at least without the penalties.

As I recall, this is a contract year for Upshaw. Having him working third downs may be sufficient to get him a big contract. I fear he goes the way of Kruger, McPhee, Ellerbe, etc. On the upside, if he does get a big contract elsewhere, it means he will have been very good for us this year.

Hopefully Kubiak will do every bit as poorly against his former team this Sunday as he did last year against his other former team. That was painful.

A lot of people predicted we would take Peter Konz in the first round a few years ago. Now Atlanta has cut him and brought in Gino Gradkowski. I know a lot of people weren't happy with Gino here, but we should all be very happy that we didn't use a high pick on Konz.

I'm so happy about this. I was completely against signing him after Houston dumped him, but I have completely changed my mind. He's become my favorite player. So happy he's here for so much longer.

I was among those who thought that Huff was as good as Reed at this point in their careers. Turns out I was correct in a way I did not anticipate. Both are incapable of playing at a professional level anymore. I'd be really happy if we hired Reed on as a coach.

This was a remarkably stupid move by someone who is trying to appeal a suspension. Will be interesting to see if he get his act together or spirals downward. It doesn't look like he has the intellect to get his act together. Also looking like the Broncos organization isn't the best place to try to do that. They have on field talent, but they're becoming the clown car off the field.

Just to be on topic, I have a Lotus Elise, BMW M3, Toyota Tacoma 4x4 and a race car that was a Saturn in its former life. I recently test drove a Range Rover Evoque with a friend who is looking and thought it was spectacular, though I have no use for one right now.
