  1. My sweetheart loves me so much that even though she had to work all day she came home and made fresh hot boudin (with crispy skin). I love you my baby.

  2. Ok the metal work is complete the lights are hung and wired in (don't try this at home kids I am a trained professional), no sparks or smoke so I think we are ok. Now its time to put on my carpenter hat and do the wood work. If any of you had wood shop or were lucky enough to go to a votech (I did for electrical) than thank you teacher. Thanks Mr. Vic and Mr. Smith you taught me well and I still remember all that I learned. For those of you who knew me in high school yes miracles do happen.P...

  3. Stopped to get some water and had to share. As I was out in the carport making the support brackets to hold the ceiling lights, listening to the sound of the hammer strike the anvil, and old Priest song came to mind. So I have changed from hardcore Christian to some good old Priest. Still have another set of brackets to make, then the ceiling to put up so have to run... peace...

  4. Ok, breakfast, coffee, now its time for the first project of the weekend replacing the ceiling in the kitchen ruined by the roof leak. Have to hand build some of metal pieces to put the new lights in. It may sound funny but I am soooo looking forward to working with my hands to day. My brain needs a break.. Have a great day my friends and family. Nothing but love for you all.

  9. Oh and one last thing before I take off. For all you Dundalk (and Edgemere) people I am representing today. I am wearing the famous Hide-Away Leather T shirt that Patrick Swayze wore in the beach scene in the movie "Point Break". Putting a little B-more color in the Louisiana afternoon.

  10. Instead of telling someone who rides a motorcycle how dangerous it is ... Look twice before switching lanes, making turns, or pulling out of a driveway ... Stay on your side of the road, especially in corners ... Don't follow too closely ... Keep your eyes on the road and off your cell phones ...   11. Well Jane is in bed and I am not far behind. I am taking the rest of the week off then hitting the books again on Monday. Jane is working on her CCNA (Cisco cert) and I am going to work with her and do mine as well. Then its the MCSE, oh and I am starting on my RMP (Risk Management Professional) Cert as well. Yeah I know over achiever, but those who new me many years ago know I have a lot of catching up to do.
