Not that I don't love having Justin Tucker, but you can't just sign someone to a big, long-term contract without thinking about what other part of the team you could improve with that money. If Tucker ends up wanting $4 million per year more than an average kicker, the Ravens have to ask themselves if that $4 million dollars is *best* spent on keeping Tucker, or if it would help the team more overall to put it to another use (resigning Yanda, picking up a free-agent wide receiver, etc.). I'm not sure that spending premium money on a kicker is the best decision.
