He got rid of players that bumped heads with him and it has hurt the team, I think that's why we see players leave us to go play for Pagano or Rex. He never calls out Flacco for the many mistakes he makes but any mistake made by anyone else they get called out for it
And how well are Pagano and Rex doing right now?
I always like to listen to the "Get rid of Harbaugh" arguments just to see where they go, because tons of people scream that he needs to be fired but when asked who's a great reliable candidate to replace him, I can count on one hand the number of people who actually answered that. That same argument goes for Flacco, too.

And who would they pick that's available if they dropped Harbaugh?
Gavin is basically me upon watching the end of that game.
If nothing else, at least winning would mean Harbs technically has more winning seasons than losses.
As happy as I was that Juice made that TD I knew leaving them with more than a minute left on the clock was cause for concern, and sadly I was proven right.
Can't be mad at the offense this time, not when they put up the points that should've ended the game right then and there.
Orr, Suggs, Weddle and Timmy Jernigan also should've gotten a Pro Bowl this year.
Regardless, the 4 guys they picked are definitely Pro-Bowl worthy picks too. Well done, fellas.
If history's any indicator then the Ravens will play the Steelers hard and like it always does, it'll probably come down to the final 5 minutes of the game. Granted, it did vs. the Eagles too but this time its against a legitimately good team.

Flacco's just weird like that. He'll do something dumb and make a bonehead play one minute and then do something that WOWs people in a positive way the next.

I can't recall seeing him on the field at all recently. The NFL website says he's got 4 tackles for the year and a forced fumble and those were in the Jets game but other than that, I've not heard a word, though those could be on special teams. Don't know what he's done to earn himself a spot on the bad list, but I'm hoping they're just growing pains.

I've been wondering for a while what is Correa's issue right now?

The only time Joe seemed to have the decision making authority was in the 2012 playoffs. Other than that, the play that is sent in is the play that is ran. That's not up to Joe, that's up to the head coach!!
And all 3 of them deserve blame for that, because we saw how well that worked out.
I'm becoming of the opinion that the Ravens just want to scare their fanbase by making all of these games exciting, and they are but for all the wrong reasons.
13 minutes ago, ibleedpurpleandblack said:“Even if we’re up 10 points, or 21 points, I’m thinking, ‘It’s going to come down to the nitty and gritty,”
Why, why - if we are up 10 or 21 points why must it come down to the final possession or final play? Why can we not put teams away and close the game? I could see if the defense was ranked below 20th but when you supposedly are the #1 defense in the league why are you giving up so many big plays and putting the team in this position? Is it coaching, the bend but don't break mentality that the current DC has - whatever it is it needs to stop immediately because the Steelers and Bengals game won't have the same outcome!!
I'm starting to think the team just like creating drama for drama's sake and making things "interesting" but for all the wrong reasons. The Dolphins game was an example of a day where fans could sit back and relax as the Ravens thoroughly curbstomped them, but every other game is just making the fans bite their nails and sweat in the hopes that they make the right play at the right time.
If your own HEAD COACH thinks a play is a bad idea but allows it anyway, then that's on you. Also on Joe for not switching up at the time and just blindly agreeing with it, especially since we were actually running the ball all the day and our offense actually moved a bit better than last week.
Think back to the Seahawks-Pats Superbowl if you wanna see how throwing that close to the goal line near the end of a game worked out....
Also, if all the coordinators are upset about the "game plan" on Monday night, then do something about it. Change it up, do something different, adapt to the opponent's abilities, basically stop with the same predictable offensive schemes that we've seen for the majority of this season.
Check down passes are cool but only when they're NOT the majority of your passes.
I have to wonder how many shouting matches take place between coaches, coordinators and players that don't get reported, in light of Steve Smith losing his cool.
Anyone know the best 2 CBs that are gonna be in the draft this year?
My takeaways:
1. We went back to our anemic offense when we should've learned from the past 11 weeks. I hate that our performance vs. the Dolphins is basically a one-and-done thing.
2. Checkdowns are good. Checkdowns all the time are terrible (I remember there being a stat showing 5 passes when to WRs, 1 to a TE, and 8 to backs)
3. The team took advantage of 2 special teams turnovers, which is good. Otherwise we'd have been routed easily.
4. 300+ passing yards and 2 TDs from Flacco should be enough any other day but just not last night, worse since most of them came in the 2nd half and we still had a chance to take the lead.
5. Jimmy Smith's mere presence (or lack thereof) is a game changer.
6. Penalties keep happening and now it's just awful.
7. "Urgency" is not a word they're familiar with, if the last 5 minutes are an indicator.
8. Justin Tucker is still awesome, despite his blocked FG
Extra note: Honestly, I'm not terribly disappointed in the team's loss, it has more to do with them going back to their old ways of stale offense. Going into Gillette Stadium and winning on any given day is a real tall order, for any team, even the ones in their own division. I was also right in my belief that the Ravens would go up there and if not win, at least make this a close game and make the Pats sweat a little bit, which is technically true considering they fumbled away kicks twice and we were within 7 points of tying them.
I actually thought the fact that we made Brady throw something in anger on the sidelines earlier in the game was proof we might have a good night.
Sad to say I was wrong.

The last Monday night game we had at home was to the Bengals....in 2012. Seems we're allergic to getting Monday Nights here.
Based off the Flacco "fast facts" I'm guessing if the Ravens don't win, they'll at least make the Pats sweat a little and work hard for it. For the most part we tend to not just roll over for the Pats.

And you think Ozzie will cut his QB just like that? With no replacement at the ready, either?
