  1. Tucker must be re-upped. When rebuilding a team has to start out on a solid foundation and aside from Joe, the Tuckman is that foundation.
  2. K.O. over Upshaw. No brainer!
  3. Happy New Years to all and their families. May all find themselves in good health, with peace and tranquility a norm in 2016 and beyond.
  4. Draft? What draft? Wow, that sure felt GOOD!
  5. Regardless of who they select as Joe's backup in '16, they will draft a QB as a long term project. Mallett has had his problems so even if he shines in his Ravens debut it far from certain he'll be the backup.
  6. Would love to win the game but come April it'll be long forgotten. Either way let's hope our team makes some wise decisions re: the draft. Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to all and their families. Peace and goodwill to all!
  7. Just like life itself. Things change, people move on, new generations are born and rise to take over. Just take a gander at the Universe and one can see that there's no evidence that anything's permanent, at least as we understand it. Football is no exception.
  8. Please Timmy. Even your most ardent fans here(and there are many) aren't buying that excuse. Please do stay aggressive but let's use some common sense.
  9. Those gold pants were anything but Golden. Please, no more. At least we can't blame Murphy's law on those pants. They brought that on themselves.
  10. Said it before and will say it again... liked him from the get go and was puzzled why they let him walk. He has a way of finding the open spot which is sometimes more important than speed. And he's big enough to where he can shake off some DB's tackles. They very well might have found a "diamond in the rough" and if he shines these last three games the Ravens won't be the only team interested.
  11. Pass rusher must be a top priority and it should be a legit D Lineman, not a hybrid LB/DL. You can have the best DB's on the planet but if the QB has the time to "lite a cigar" or "drink a cup of java" standing in the pocket, it's just another wasted high draft pick.
  12. Good moves. The time is now to see what depth they actually have. One would assume they'll go for needs in the draft(there are plenty) and not just best player available.
  13. Well, there goes the streak of losing by 8 points or less. C'est la vie.
  14. What's wrong with Davis and Lewis-Moore? If it wasn't for bad luck the Ravens wouldn't have any luck at all! Something's wrong somewhere.
  15. Just like having two prominent Buck's in Charm city. Let's give it a little time before he's proclaimed the next Lenny Moore or even, for that matter, a Priest Holmes.
  16. We're with you all the way Coach and we'll also be watching very carefully on some of the younger players getting a chance to perform. In April, the FO will even be more closely scrutinized.
  17. Well, that's great and all but the real test will come this Sunday.
  18. Vaughn's a bad cut. Potentially more upside than the two TE's put together.
  19. After what's happened this year, I guess we're all getting numb about now. What possibly else could go wrong the rest of the season
  20. Daniel Brown looks to be a keeper. Liked him from the get go and he just seems to find the open spot, a la Campanaro. Hopefully Brown, unlike Camp, can stay healthy. Can't wait until April but please let's do our homework this year esp. on prospects medical outlooks!
  21. Liked the way West juked around in a zigzag fashion instead of just barreling headlong into the D. Let's just hope he puts some of his troubles behind him and understands one only gets so many chances in pro sports. The window of opportunity can be very small, indeed.
  22. What a finish and just what the R's needed. It's about time the cloud of Murphy's law that the R's have been under turned around and smothered someone else. Will "The Thrill" Hill.
  23. As John Babsone Lane Soule first put it in an 1851 editorial " Go West young man and grow up with the country" ( Ravens!) Let's hope some of his maturity problems are quickly put behind him. He seemingly has the talent to be a positive force with the team.
  24. Happy Thanksgiving to all and their families. We all have much to be thankful for living in this great country and also having a local pro team to cheer for. Baltimore is one of the few cities to have two high profile pro teams and having been a dyed in the wool Balt. fan sine the Johnny U. days makes one even more thankful for that rarefied status, esp. as the years fly by.
  25. Absolutely brutal and heart wrenching. Our thoughts and prayers goes out to Mr. Ellison during this time of tribulation. May the Almighty reach down through his family and friends to provide the necessary comfort and succor to carry on.
