  1. Get 'er done, Ozzie, Get 'er done!
  2. Mike Rowe. .a long time B-More fan. Well "someone's got to do it." A funny show indeed. Good article. Thanks for the info.
  3. Let's see. Bosa or Buckner? Kiper may be dreaming that one falls to the Ravens but I sure hope he's right this time. Highly doubtful but one can't lose getting either one.
  4. Priceless. Worth a lot more to old Baltimore Colt fans. Unitas to Berry..ah, the memories. Those sweet, sweet memories.
  5. The Ravens D was better for an entire season, they were better in the SB, and they were better in the whole postseason. Besides giving up 0 points and less than 200 total yds in the SB, they only gave up 1 TD in all 4 playoff games combined. In 4 playoff games, they gave up a TD and 3 FGs, which is exactly 4 ppg. Even though the Ravens played one more playoff game than the Broncos, the Ravens gave up less than half as many points in the postseason as Denver. And what's your point in as much that I agree with most of what you claim in my post?
  6. +100 Maybe in the SB but getting there a team still needs a speedy WR.
  7. Irresistible force? Did you mean the unstoppable force v. the immovable object? No. The immovable object(Broncos D) vs. the irresistible force(Panthers O)
  8. Overall, for an entire season, the Ravens 2000 D was better. No doubt about it but the Broncos D is also something special. The immovable object stopped the irresistible force, at least this time.
  9. Almost surely. Maybe #2 but 3??
  10. Will he still be available in the 2nd or 3rd round?
  11. Way to go Justin. Terrible tragedy that has no place in an American city.
  12. The Conqueror Worm.....Was referring to the owner's wish to have a pass rusher taken high in the draft. It wasn't Oz who said that and the inference was it be a D Lineman who can actually push an O lineman back into the pocket.
  13. Davis should be concerned with his physical strength since it was boss(owner) said the top priority in the draft should be a pass rusher.(hopefully a D Lineman and not a so called hybrid) That doesn't seem to bode well for some on the D.
  14. Camp has that unique quality of being able to find the open spot and making some yards afterwards. He reminds one somewhat of Brandon Stokley who had the same ability but also found if hard to stay on the field.(Stokley did have a long career) But he's right that this will be his "last hurrah" with the Ravens if he doesn't stay healthy although that doesn't mean it's the end of his playing days.
  15. So long Ted. You were a true gentleman and a credit to the game of football. Sincerest condolences to his family and friends and may he rest in eternal peace.
  16. What's with these guys selling the SB's ring? It's a short term infusion of cash but in the long term it's going to be tough not having the ring to show your kids & grand kids. It's a status symbol that ages very well and is a rare award among the 7 Billion people who live on the planet.
  17. Could or should? An absolute YES in both cases.
  18. A couple more Perriman and or Elam picks than the dynamic duo might think about making it a triple headed trio to have the tie breaking vote. Let's hope the owner's wishes for a pass rusher gets fulfilled.
  19. A pleasure in seeing another team lose? Nah. As a matter of fact it causes this poster to pick a team to root for although obviously not with the passion that one roots for the Ravens. I'll go with the Redskins this time because of the drubbing they took in the press earlier in the year and the marked improvement of Cousins who this poster felt had the goods all along.(talk about taking a drubbing with that prediction) But really, just hoping to see some quality football.
  20. Perriman expected to be ready for the off season. What off season year? And what about in season? Seriously though, that question has to be answered before the draft.
  21. That's correct billiejean. That's where we differ in as much as I believe the team should go back to a legit 4/3 line. If you have two full size pass rushing DE's and two beefcakes in the middle(a la 2000 SB ravens)and ones who can actually push the OL back then that frees up the LB's even more. And the opponents would have their hands full with a McPhee types DE's along with the LB's. Remember, our starting LB's are all now into their 30's and it's only a matter of time before they must move on. And if the replacements aren't up to the take they're in trouble.
  22. Pass rushing legit D lineman. Priority 1,2,3. Then WR's. Speed and the ability to move O lineman around and backwards should be the two top priorities. Too many times the D was the ones being pushed backwards or down instead of the opposite.
  23. Great to see #55 returning. Let's hope it's a full strength. Also very good to see the owner emphasizing as a top priority a pass rusher. And let's hope that's one who is a legit D lineman and not one that is commonly referred to as a hybrid. That is, one who can actually push an O lineman backwards.
