  1. And he's still young enough to actually produce some results. Let's keep that injury bug in check this year.
  2. Absolutely don't know the final take but let's hope they make the coaches think long and hard before cutting anyone loose. Reynolds is an intriguing option because he can possibly help out in myriad positions. If he does perform them well he'll stick.
  3. That was certainly not so in the past as the Mid would be required to serve active duty. However times change and that's good news for the Ravens. One caveat to consider is who the Secretary of the Navy is at a certain time and things could easily revert back to the old policy if there is a change in that position anytime in the future.
  4. Looks great so far. Hope he lives up to the billing and makes us, the ones who wanted to see Buckner here, forget all about it.
  5. That's an "OUTLIER" statement if there ever was one.
  6. They all seem to have the 83 rating.
  7. If next season goes 5 & 11 instead of 11& 5, somebody may just be beamed up by Scotty ! More like being beamed off the Enterprise.
  8. Engage Mr. Crusher(Newsome) Warp 10 . Aye aye, Sir.
  9. Man those Buckeyes just flew off the board! I was hoping Bosa falls to 6 but he goes 3. Then I hoped Zeke falls to to 6 where we'd get a nice trade back but no he goes 4. Then I'm thinking cool cool Apple or Lee will fall to 25 and Ozzie can snatch one but no. They go 10 and 20 lol They missed a good one in Buckner.
  10. "Tell them Willie Boy is here" 1969 Movie- Go Ravens!
  11. Sorry but I am a man and..... discretion is the better part of valor.
  12. Was thinking the very same thing Matt Skura, C, Duke. 6'3" 305 lbs. Duh :)
  13. If past is precedence, he'll be able to use up his leave time for training camp but then have to ship out.
  14. Kind slow of the mark today. Reynolds on board. Aye, aye Sir!
  15. Really? Hope you're right but Div. II is a far cry from the Pros. "Hope Springs Eternal".
  16. We'll see but remember the owner in an interview in January said that he wanted production through the first four rounds. He laid a marker down and if they tank again in '17 it's a pretty good bet they'll be major changes in the FO.
  17. Kamalei Correa....can anyone say John Simon. Hope Springs Eternal.
  18. Spence or Jack present a definite roll of the dice. Bullard would seem like the safest pick. Wondering how the scouts are rating him?
  19. Buckner is overrated. He had 10.5 sacks against marginal college teams. Jernigan is a much better pass rusher. And last I checked, the draft is not over - Myles Jack, Noah Spence, Ogbah, Dodd all still on the board - all as good as or better PR than Buckner. Yeah, I don't get it. Buckner is a 5-tech DE, which in the Ravens scheme is a run-stopping position. The rush is designed to come from the Leo (Suggs), 3-tech (Jernigan), and Sam (Doom) positions. In fact, for those clamoring that the Ravens needed an "impact play maker" at 6, I'd argue that Buckner's position is the least impactful one in the front 7. Drafting him that high would be like taking an OG with the 6th pick. Considering how some feel about taking an LT with the pick I find this "we should've taken Buckner" talk quite silly. The vast majority of scouting reports had Buckner as a top 5 pick. One can rationalize all they want but they let the best legit DL pass through their fingers. The 49er's are already saying they couldn't believe their luck. Time will tell but don't bet more than a cup of coffee that we won't come to regret not picking him.
  20. They draft Stanley over a Buckner when their main pass rushers are in their 30's and one coming off a serious injury? Mind boggling esp afyer the owner said he wanted a PR. Maybe it's time for some new people in that FO!
  21. Then they should go to a 4-3.
