Which way is up is hilarious. I've seen and like every movie on your list. The only one I haven't seen is Buck and the preacher. I'll check netflix for it.
I'm more of a Meatballs III: Summer Job guy myself. Just listen to the synopsis: The ghost of a dead porn star comes to Earth to help a nerd (a yound Patrick Dempsey) with his sex life. Golden.
Nice to see I am not alone with The Garbage Pail Kids the Movie. "Rats and thunder, wind and hail, Send the kids back in the pail.". Heard there's a possible remake in the works.
The Monster Squad is an excellent movie and does not qualify for a guilty pleasure. It sports a 7.2 on IMDB. I'd even argue its better than The Goonies.
I saw all the Meatballs movies and liked them. I thought monster squad got bad reviews that's why I put it on my list. Garbage pail kids deserves a remake with todays cgi and graphics would be great.
My top 10 guilty pleasures
1. Last Dragon
2. No Retreat No Surrender (Van Dammes first official movie)
3. Meatballs 4
4. Diggstown
5. Garbage Pail Kids
6. Scary Movie 2
7. I'm gonna git you sucka
8. Mighty Ducks 3
9. Little Giants
10. Monster Squad
I tried to pick the movies I loved as a kid that I can still watch even though some are bad but cult classics.
I like this idea. i wish i had saw the signup in time. I'm finding it interesting to see how you all decide to build your teams. I like secret getting Duncan to go with Kobe.
Yeah, it's crazy. Maybe he realized football isn't for him and he wants to start becoming a fiend. I really don't know. Lol.
That's somewhat similar to the guy from the Raiders that went AWOL before the Super Bow years agol. I think he was found out to be bipolar. Maybe Dimitri had something similar happen to him.
I'm on board with taking Jared Abbrederis. I know he's not the sexy WR people crave but he's going to be a star from what I've seen. I think we could get him in the third or fourth round as well due to how deep this class is.
Will he produce for us his first year or do you think he becomes a star in 3 years?
we have done this me and you many times
troy=still can play
ryan=still can play
Nnamdi=still can play
Freeney=still a valuable piece
Gore=playing the best ball of his career
and as injury history goes I don't have a single one of these players that have gotten season ending injuries in this offseason so far
Maclin
Pitta
Hernandez(legal)
crabtree
Bulaga
and so on and so on.......yet they are all ahead of me
You know what they say about opinions. The important part of it is do you like your team. If you do be happy with it. At the end of the season based on how they play you can come back and revisit the opinions to see how good or bad they were. Hey most on this site have extremely high hopes for the Ravens yet most of the analysts predict us to miss the playoffs and be one of the worst teams in football. So I just look at the opinions save them and revisit a few times throughout the season.
pick is in I believe Grim is gone so whomever has his pick can put it in
pick is in sent pm to sizzle
Nice pick Ball Hawk Devin Hester was next on my alphabetical list of remaining players
pick is in pm'd grim
I am a big fan of the deangelo pick at this point. That is a nice rotation you have there with brown. That has the makings of a solid backfield.
Thanks. I think Williams has at least 2 years of solid play before he's done. If Bryce can handle the load Williams will make him a better running back.
you've doubled up there on the DeAngelo's lol
lol I had my remaining picks in alphabetical order.
My pick is in I pm'd Sizzle
I'm glad you did lol. I'm not as fond of Burris to be honest. I love Moore and I've been considering him for rounds. Round. I love this guy's versatility. I think I could put him at SS for some sets or possibility rush LB. They plan is to put him at WLB, but I love versatile players.
I know I wasn't thrilled with Burris. I had Burnett on the radar and he was taken. Burris started to get better in pass coverage late in the year and I think he'll get better over his career. What I like about Burris is he's a sure tackler and has some speed to him.
Got my WLB who's one of the best in this class in my eyes behind my man Brown. I think Moore will be a first class LB in a few years. He is a smart player who has a knack for making player which I need on this defense. It also helps a lot that he's a beast in coverage and played many positions on defense.
When I took Miles Burris I was debating between Miles and Sio. I only took Burris because of the year experience in the NFL.
pick is in I pm'd Grim
Slay should be a good #1 in Detroit.
So, as my #2, he should be just fine
Verner moves to FS, and now my next two picks are controversial
You're killing me. He was my nickleback.
There's a sophomore RB I like quite a bit as a power back. I'm not sure if others view him as such but I think he's capable
Bryce has some power to him. If he can correct the way he holds the ball to limit his fumbles he'll be a very good back. I need a receiving back to complement him hopefully one of the 5 I like will fall to me before this draft is finished.
was looking at Lacy myself, naughty dizzle for taking him lol
I took Bryce for his speed and was going to get Lacy for his power and I wanted to have two very young rb's.
My next 3 picks in order were Kyle Wilson, Josh Wilson, and Eddie Lacy lol.
lol I wish I could, but I would've failed the deadline. It's up.
You have some serious speed on your WR's, RB, and TE. Dangerous team.
Bryce brown in think was kind of a one hit wonder. He had the big game then he was just way too careless with the football.
San Diego has tried to get Mathews to take over the lead back role there for several years now. Due to injury and IMO overrated ability he has been unable to best out full backs for thst role. Count me as not a fan of his.
I agree the fumbling worries me but they had a lot of problems in Philly last year with incompetent QB play, atrocious o-line play. Fumbling is the easiest thing to change Adrian Peterson and Tiki Barber were fumblers. They each turned it around by changing the way they held the ball. It can be corrected. Bryce isn't a great receiver out of the backfield. he may be able to improve on that but he's extremely fast. With my WR's and TE I should be able to spread the field and let him rip it.
Nice pick Crush, Lafell's very underrated.

Yes it did. That giving the person the benefit of the doubt is over in the NFL. For any serious crime dui, assault, abuse, DV, and attempted murder will all now be paid or unpaid while on leave until their situation is resolved in court and all facts reviewed. This should be the same for all owners, coaches, and employees of the team as well. Suspended with or without pay depending on the offense and preliminary facts. I guarrantee this will have players and coaches get immediate trials instead of pushing them off until the offseason as they will not be able to play until it's resolved.
One thing it wasn't a second accusation it was a previous accusation on another child the same age. It was not a serious allegation or at least the police didn't treat it as one and did not go forward with it. I don't think the guy is a child abuser but I think he's going to far with his disciplining of his children. At no point should your child be bleeding, have bruises, or broken skin at your hand. This has to show him that he needs to get counseling on other ways to discipline your child without causing undue harm. I don't think he means to hurt them but he has to change his methods.
