We me have the best LB group in the league at this current moment... But the amazing thing is that this group isn't the best we've ever had.
Boulware
Lewis
Jamie Sharper.
That is one of the best LB cores you could ever have.
That could be true, but I think we would stand more of a chance with Schaub then we would have with Tyrod.
Tyrod could at least run for a first down instead of gift wrapping a TD to the other team like Schaub seems to do alot.
I agree if Doom gets the record we are definitely in the playoffs. If Suggs can get double digits as well and our corners stay healthy we're a top 3 defense.
Suggs if his career ended now might get in but he would wait a few years. If he has two more double digit sack years he's a first ballot near lock. Another Super Bowl title or any MVP season and he's a first ballot lock.
I'll take Frank Walker for $1,000 Alex.
Drops mic.....
RIP Damion
Once I see the final roster, and how we perform in the preseason, I will be able to give a more honest assessment. Just based off the purple glasses I see through. I expect a 12-4 record winning the AFC North. Depending on health throughout the season determines how far we'll go in the playoffs. If no major injuries and everything plays out similar to last year I think we could win it all again.
I like that Teryl Austin and Hue Jackson as top three head coaching candidates. We have always had a strong coaching tree.
Flacco would've easily passed 4,000 yards if some of those PI's were caught.
I've never seen Asa return a kick, but I do remember he had some nice punt returns in preseason.
He ran a kickoff back for a td last year or the year before.
That's the opposite of Travis Taylor. he would get open against anybody and drop the easy ones and make a crazy catch here and there. If he could catch anything he would've lasted in the league because he could get open. I think Perriman will be fine. This will become an issue if he's dropping easy ones in preseason games.
Very well said!
I like us in the shawdows and out of the limelight. Then when we are forced into the limelight vs a front running team, it make s the victory that much sweeter.
I like him and think he'll play to Joe's strengths a little more than Kubiak did.
Great question. Mine would be Brandon Williams. He's seems laid back and cool. Suggs, Smith Sr, Jernigan, and Urshel would round out my top 5. For coaches/ owners I would go with Biscotti and Newsome. For all time Ravens it would be Lewis, Reed, Siragusa, Woodson, and Sharpe. Deion Sanders too.
I don't understand what you are saying. Ben has been better than Flacco just this past year. Flacco's most yards and TD's he has thrown for is 3,986 yards and 27 TD's. Big Ben has four better years of passing yards and TD's than Flacco has. There is also another year where he only played 13 games and was on pace to beat Flacco's best year again. So yes, Big Ben has been better than Flacco a bunch in the regular season. Not just this past year.
Also, the argument that he has way better weapons than the Ravens. Obviously, Brown panned out pretty well for them. But, if you look at solely where they were drafted. They have a 6th, 4th and two 3rd round WR's, a 2nd round RB and a 1st round aging TE. You can't really say that they have been stacking the position for Big Ben.
This is another area where I believe Big Ben is a better QB than Flacco. He makes WR's better.
He's had Hines Ward, Plaxico Burress, Santonio Holmes, Antonio Brown, Mike Wallace, and Martavis Bryant. All drafted and few overlapping each other. Ward, Burress, Holmes, and Brown would all be good regardless of QB. Ben is a realy good QB but when you also have very talented WR's it's easy to put up numbers. How many times have you seen the Steeler line up 3 wr's all on the same side and just throw to the open one all game. When have we ever been able to do that? The closest was Jacoby's first year when he was with Boldin and Torrey.
We have always been a defensive team that ground and pounds. Pittsburgh just now is starting to run the ball a little more but they always air it out. As we finally start it seems to have two talented WR's I'm counting Waller in there. We may be able to have consistent success airing the ball out. I think scheme and play call along with quality of QB and WR's give the best production. Joe has the arm and talent but how many times have we seen Joe get time to throw and every DB is glued to every one of our WR's. We have never had a WR get consistent separation ever. All the top QB's have WR's that can get separation. This year hopefully it shows how good Joe can look with some good talent out there.
Head this is what I think will happen, if there's any change at all.
That or we start going for two pointers more often. To help out the kicker and change the game a little.
Asa Jackson at KR and Campanaro at PR
That's great with Asa coming on the field in dime packages or against 4 WR sets. Asa can be the primary PR/KR or backup and let the undrafted guy do the returning. Camp will get some chance to return as well. That's the only position where we haven't 100% penciled in our guy whether it's one guy doing both or using a combo of guys for both.
Yeah Tray will need 15 pounds of muscle added to his frame.

Thanks never saw this
I'm getting a black Jimmy Smith Jersey and a White Flacco Jersey. I will also add a purple jersey for CJ.
He was released by New England. I think he would be cheap and could at least compete for the nickel/dime spot and help out in Special teams. I think barring any off the field trouble he would be a low risk/high reward guy like Rolando McClain was supposed to be. What do you guys think?
I like the pick of Walker and I think he could be more, but as of now he's JAG. I'm hoping he becomes more. I honestly wouldn't be surprised either way. He could be that guy who pushes someone like Marlon Brown or Kamar Aiken eventually off the team. I think he makes it harder for Butler to make the team. This WR corps has a chance to be better than good. I'm really excited.
I haven't stopped smiling since the draft. Now I can't wait until training camp.
I love these reaction videos.
Yeah they are cool

I really was sad when we had to let Adalius test out free agency. He was an absolute stud in our system.
