Yes it did. That giving the person the benefit of the doubt is over in the NFL. For any serious crime dui, assault, abuse, DV, and attempted murder will all now be paid or unpaid while on leave until their situation is resolved in court and all facts reviewed. This should be the same for all owners, coaches, and employees of the team as well. Suspended with or without pay depending on the offense and preliminary facts. I guarrantee this will have players and coaches get immediate trials instead of pushing them off until the offseason as they will not be able to play until it's resolved. One thing it wasn't a second accusation it was a previous accusation on another child the same age. It was not a serious allegation or at least the police didn't treat it as one and did not go forward with it. I don't think the guy is a child abuser but I think he's going to far with his disciplining of his children. At no point should your child be bleeding, have bruises, or broken skin at your hand. This has to show him that he needs to get counseling on other ways to discipline your child without causing undue harm. I don't think he means to hurt them but he has to change his methods.
