I actually thought the passing offense was pretty good last year considering all the injuries. Trestman did a really good job creating space and match ups imo.

Obviously injury had something to do with it but the Ravens had 8 different players catch 30 or more passes. Without injury I wonder how numbers would have turned out. Even without injuries this year I think the numbers will continue to be spread out because of all the talent. I'm really excited to see how Trestman uses this offense.

I agree, that Trestman and Joe did a good job, even if Flacco was more prone to make more mistakes than in Kubiaks offense. But, I am talking about the talent surrounding them.

There are a number of WR's that I think would be good fits for the Ravens: (here is the order I would rank them)

    Michael Thomas

    Sterling Shepard

    Pharoh Cooper

    Rashard Higgins

    Kenny Lawler

    Hunter Sharp

    Trajae Sharpe

This years WR draft class seems really bad. We'll have to rely on SSS (coming back from a major injury and ageing), BP (coming back from a season long injury, that just wouldn't heal right and also unproven) and Mike Wallace (may be on the downturn of his carreer). It's still probably one our better WR groups. Gosh, we're so bad at creating passing offenses. I dread Joe Flaccos retirement, when we'll go back to looking for a franchise QB. -_-

The Ravens are hosting embattled Ole Miss DL Robert Nkemdiche in Baltimore today. West Virginia S Karl Joseph is also there.

    1st round: Spence

    2nd round: Nkemdiche

That would bescary and hilarious at the same time. Scary, because both are gambles and hilarious, because it would show that Ozzie does not give a...! ;)

  4. Bosa, Jack, VH3. Those are the possible picks the Ravens will make in the draft and atleast one of them will be available, imho. We're in a really good position to get an impact player for next season.

my nightmare is no one in front of us selects a QB

Then you've got nothing to fear, because it won't happen.

You would think it's something that a player should already have mastered but I feel Joe's inconsistent footwork is the biggest result of the constant change at the OC and QB coach positions. When guys like Caldwell, Kubes and the other guy escapes me(form Seahwaks lefty QB) all focused on his footwork Joe had some of his best seasons. Then other guys kind of just let Joe be Joe and he falls back into his comfort zone of my big arm will get me through.

Being 6'6 makes it easy for Joe to get sloppy with his footwork and appear lazy, but he's not. It's just a habit that was never broken since a young player because he's never really had consistent coaching.

Do wanna seem like I'm making excuses for Joe because it's something that he could easy hire a off-season QB coach to solely work on his footwork.

You mean JIm Zorn? Big mistake to fire him, I agree. Joe was furious about that, too. He's really good with QBs turned coaches.

    Wow Los Angeles, unbelievable.

The irony in the "Popular Demand" wording. If it was "Popular Demand" why did the city lose the Rams in the first place and then lose the Raiders AND be without a NFL team for 20 years. Either way, what a classless move by the city.

LA has a really bad track record with supporting NFL teams. Odd, since it's such a big city. I guess they are more into College Football. The Rams might have a hard time competing with UCLA and USC for attention.

Not really draft related but Mike Mayock posted this thing called a selfie.

I love MIkes commentary on NFL games. He constantly keeps saying "This guy is so special" about EVERY SINGLE GUY on the field. XD Like, Mike take abreak from all these mock drafts, I don't think they're good for you. :P

RG had one more chance to turn his career around and he chooses the Browns smh... I thought Hue Jackon might be able to help them, but I guess you can't fix stupid.

Would the QBs in the draft helped any? Goff has a noodle arm (not a good idea in the AFCN) and Wentz is a big gamble with the 2nd overall pick, imho. Griffin was a promising prospect once and Hue is a great QB coach. RGknee and Josh Gordon could be good together, if they end up drafting Ezekiel Elliott to take some pressure of Robbie, they might have a chance for a decent offense. Just, draft a QB in the later rounds as a backup. :P

All I'm saying is, they had worse plans to sure up that offense. I can atleast see the logic in this move. It's still better than drafting Manziel. -_- But, that's like saying the phrase "still better lovestory than Twilight", which applies on pretty much ANY lovestory. The only way is up people! :D

I'd be concerned when they pick Myles Jack. Could be they are looking QB round two. Worked for cincy.

Cook might be there in the 2nd. I actually think they won't go with a QB in the 1st.

Read into it what you will but the Browns gave had interviews with three QB'S:

    PRESCOTT

    LYNCH

    CONNOR COOK

at the very least it suggests another pick in round one. Oh, also met with Myles Jack and Bosa

I feel people like nitpicked Connor alot predraft, sometimes unfairly. He's a winner. I'd actually be concerned, if the Brownies end up drafting him.
