    Not that good. It's not like we have tons of cap space and we do have some pretty big contracts coming up. I think Eugene Monroe will be the biggest signing of 2014 for the Ravens (and the Ravens will absolutely want to sign him). Followed by Dennis Pitta, James Ihedigbo, Arthur Jones and Corey Graham. I wouldn't be surprised, if the Ravens will made an attempt of signing Torrey and Jimmy Smith in the next offseason also, eventhough their contracts will run for another season. Jacoby just isn't a top priority, when compared to those players, imho. I still think, that we can upgrade from Jacoby in the next draft and that Brown, Mellette and Doss make him expandable.

    I really wish Ed can retire as a Raven. He was so important for the franchise. That said, our secondary is sadly better without him. True and very painfull to point that out as a fan.

    I don't think he would be very productive on the field, but I would like him to retire in a Ravens uniform. Could we afford that kind of luxury?

  6. Almost every FA move and every draft pick last offseason was invested in rebuilding the defense, while the offense had to pay for it with the Boldin trade. And yet, after all that and the many injuries to key offensive players, some people still complain that our stars on offense are struggling? Get real people!

      Well, without Boldin we couldn't afford to lose Pitta and then we did and then the Oline caved in and suddenly we had no offense. It's a domino effect. One follows the other.

      Eh, I don't think you can relate one to the other. Obviously no one could predict Dennis going down and unless Boldin moved to TE I don't see the connection. Any of the receivers could be filling in if there was a dependable threat at TE. Q's contributions in the [profanity deleted] were legendary. Regular season? Not so much. The O line? Who knows the cause or fix for that issue.

    I wasn't all that excited about the PS4 either, but the philosophical focus for Sony seems to be atleast on gaming. The PS4 is all about sharing of game experiences online and integrating social media into it, which I guess is a big part of gaming now (all the "Lets Play"-videos on the web considered). The X-Box One (gosh, what a dumb name) looks like a glorified remote by now. Switching around channels is a big selling point? Has anyone really this much trouble using the their TV?

    I don't see the Ravens paying enough money to steal Jake Long away from the Dolphins and I am pretty sure Sam Baker is going to stay in Atlanta. Bushrod may be an option, but the Saints seem to be intent on keeping the guy around. I just don't see it. Jennings almost seems like the least expensive option here.

    That's pretty funny. He would be an obvious upgrade from Boldin, but he also had injuries in his last 2 seasons. Still, that could potentially be huge for Joe and the offense.

    I just hope, we don't try to give that role to Jacoby. He had a long time to become the #2 guy in the Houston and it didn't work out...at all...like totally...I am not kidding.

    Boldin was our one receiver who consistently played well against man coverage this year. Joe will have to run around like the second coming of Fran Tarkenton just to find guys open, unless the Ravens find someone to replace Boldin in this role.

    If all that was needed to keep Ellerbe, I am going to go mental. We better sign at least a solid number two receiver with the open cap space this season, because we only remaining talented receiver we've got is Torrey.
