  1. Not sure, if Peyton is better than Archie. Put a young Archie Manning on some of those teams his sons had and he wins you a couple championships, imho.
  2. I remember some people on this message board asking, if we should pick up Manning in FA, when he became available. There's your answer haters!
  3. At this point? Yeah.
  4. Brady has the better playoff record, but that wouldn't put either one them in my top5 all time, if you ask me. It's just the comparison between the two. I would pick Brady over Manning.
  5. Peyton Manning? Potentially the greatest QB ever? Joe Montana is laughing!
  6. This whole Brady vs Peyton debate is pretty much over.
  7. Who else is getting the MVP, though? The whole Seahawks defense? An ironic SB MVP for Mannings playoff jitters?
  8. He is improving his game right now. The QB play in this SBbowl is very underwhelming however. Flacco vs Kaep was much more exciting.
  9. The Seattle defense isn't that good, but Manning makes them look like the 85 Bears.
  10. I'm so glad we didn't sign Manning, when he became an FA.
  11. The Ravens finally move on from Cam's scheme. What an exciting time! Everything seems possible all of a sudden.

  12. Oh God, that happened in 2008! Great, now I'm all depressed.
  13. So, why do we need Dennison for? An OL coach as a QB coach? As a RB coach he could work, but taking care of the QB seems like a stretch to me.
  14. They both had alot of success together and they both end up joining a very successfull team without QB problems and with a championship pedigree on top of that. That's a pretty good way to get an opportunity for a HC job fast. Winning the SB wouldn't hurt either.
  15. Steve Bisciotti is no Jerry Jones. He knows to trust the personal he hired. John's "buddy system" is a fabrication by the Ravens fanbase. Every coach brings in coaches, he is familiar with. Just look at what Gary Kubiak is doing and he is just the OC. And for now John's way resulted in 3 AFCCG appearence and a SB, which is something Kubiak hasn't done as a HC, right? BTW, Kubiak's Texans do run ZBS. Do you think, that doesn't make Kubiak a good fit for Castillo. Sounds like Harbaugh is getting his way.
  16. Castillo would be a good fit for Kubiak's offense as well. The Texans were running ZBS very well for a long time. That damn Preston should be writting Harlequin Romance novels, not reports.
  17. Well, Kubiak's other option were the Browns, so it wasn't that hard of a decision to make for Gary.
  18. Their OL was better than ours for a long time, imho. Arian Foster is in my opinion a superior RB to Rice (still pretty good, though) and we never had a WR of Andre Johnsons caliber on our roster. Flacco is way better than Schaub and that means alot, but apart of QB and maybe TE, the Texans probably had the better roster.
  19. That would ease my mind a little. Harbs is one season removed from being a SB champion and missed the playoffs for the first time in his carreer and then just barely. I think it would make the Ravens look like a dysfunctional organisation, if the FO would turn on John this sudden.
  20. I think, that would make sense for us. Jeff Zrebiec ‏@jeffzrebiecsun 1 Min. @Your_vs_You_are All would make sense. My guess is Kyle QB coach, Dennison RB coach and Juan stays. But as I said, just a guess.
  21. Kubiak's ability as a playcaller is concerning for me as well. He's a slave to the playaction pass and I have seen the Ravens do the same thing over and over again (run, run, pass, punt) for far too long. It's a bit unfair to compare Kubiak to Cam, but it still doesn't change the fact, that the Texans weren't exactly known as a very dynamic offensive team.
  22. I wonder how Joe would perform in a west coast offense, after watching him stand behind the OL waiting for WRs to get open downfield for so long. If it's done well, we might actually see Joe throw to open receivers. Another thing I haven't seen yet.
  23. I hope the reports about the FO forcing coaching staff decisions on Harbs aren't true. I wouldn't want our team to turn into the Baltimore Cowboys.

I hope they are true. The FO needs to prevent another Cam Cameron situation from happening.

It's not as if Cam was horrible his entire tenure

I agree with Calvin, Cam is bad playcaller but he is a good teacher; without him, Joe wouldn't be as successful as he is today.

Ravens are nowhere near in comparison with the Cowgirls....

Harbs would report to Steve and Ozzie but it is all on him for final decision. Steve and Ozzie only step in when we are failing 2yr in the row....

  24. I would be okay with it, as long as Harbaugh had the final say in this. He is the HC and he should be making coaching staff decisions. We're not the Cowboys. Sounds like wishful thinking to me. Who would want him? Our WR aren't really developing all that well.
  25. Are the reports of Bisciotti making coaching staff decisions true or is it the typical "Mike Preston"-crap?
