  1. Please God, let Taylor Lewan fall to us in the draft!

  2. Lol, great edit Mod3. I never like Kaep's attitude. That biceps kissing thing got annoying fast.
  3. Gotta love the excitement Steve feels for his new team: “To get 1,000 yards, I don’t think it’s impossible,” Smith said. “But for me to get 1,000 yards, Torrey [smith] to get 1,000 yards and Ray Rice to get 1,000 yards and maybe Jacoby and whatever wide receivers, I think it’s doable. Obviously with [Dennis] Pitta, I say why not all of us? Be the 1,000-yard club back when they used to have those clubs. You heard it here first! Joe Flacco will throw for 5000 yards easy.
  4. Lets hope he protects Joe as if he got paid 100 million $. Still have nightmares from the beating Flacco took in Miami. Outch.
  5. The casting was great, imho. I agree with all that you said about the characters not being likable, but I do think that the actors just really meshed together well and made the characters work as a group, eventhough I didn't like 3/5th of the group either (My 3 would be Barney (I know he is a fan favorite, but I'm just not buying the "likeable womanizer"-trope), Lily and Robin). I thought Ted worked well, by being fairly bland and "fairly" inoffensive, as a grounding character of the show, even if it's creepy that he told his children about all of his "romances" he had, including one-night stands and attempted threesomes, which really destroyes his portrayal as a "hopeless romantic". Man...now that I read my own thoughts about those characters out loud to myself, I wonder why I watched it for so long also. Those actors did one heck of a job to make that stuff work. Do you know, a spin-off is in the work called "How I met your Dad"? No, it isn't a show from the perspective of the mother, that could've potenitally saved the HIMYM retroactively and would've made too much sense.
  6. Haha, I'm glad, I haven't spoiled anything for you then. It's no "How I met your Mother", so don't worry.
  7. It's funny to talk to you about this, when you have an avatar from a TV show, that actually had a great ending. "All good things..." was an awesome episode. One of the Top 10 all-time Next Gen episodes, imho.
  8. HIMYM stayed on the air for too long. The characters became parodies of themselves going through the same/similar events over and over again. I've seen the finale and I thought it was awful for reasons, that I obviously can't explain without spoiling anything for anyone. Good luck in finding anything redeeming in this mess for anyone, who is yet to see it. Ugh.
  9. Jeff ZrebiecVerifizierter Account ‏@jeffzrebiecsun Harbaugh said that it's his understanding that workouts organized by Flacco w his Wrs are planned. This team is starting to take form.

  11. I just don't want to see this ever again:
  12. How good can he be, if the Bucs signed EDS in FA?
  13. Mike GarafoloVerifizierter Account ‏@MikeGarafolo We'll see what the numbers and length on Zuttah's reworked deal come out to but Ravens made it clear he's their center. No idea how credible the source is.
  14. Texans signed FS Kendrick Lewis, formerly of the Chiefs. Those snickers you hear are coming from Chiefs fans who badly wanted Lewis to leave Kansas City after four unsuccessful seasons as a starter. Lewis, 26 in June, would be better off as a third safety and special teamer. In Houston, he's reuniting with old Chiefs DC and head coach Romeo Crennel. The Texans are believed to be mulling the release of longtime FS starter Danieal Manning. Mar 21 - 4:39 PM Source: Rotoworld

  16. Flacco = Our only 1st round draft pick still playing on offense. The market is oddly silent about Clemons. He's a solid player. Maybe I'm not the only one, who kept mistaking him for the Seahawks DE.
  17. I can't deny, that drafting a WR would be tempting (I bellyached over this for a long time), since there is so much great talent at this position in this draft, but I think great OL play is much more important for a QB, than great WRs. Give Joe time in the pocket and he'll manage with what he have right now. Also, our offense needs high draft picks far more than our defense. Just my opinion.
  18. I think, I care less about Elam's development than Flacco's protection. Getting the safety position out of the way in FA would give the Ravens the ability to invest heavily into the OL. I'd rather take Zack Martin, who will improve our OL than Clinton-Dix, who will make our top 10 defense (well almost top 10) slightly better.
  19. I'm negging this post in memory of Jacoby Jones. R.I.P. #12
  20. Do we know anything about KO's health? Because, we don't have that much depth at either positions behind KO and it wouldn't be surprising if we adress both in the draft. That Zack Martin pick starts to make more and more sense, the more you think about it. He is really good at playing both positions.
  21. Somehow I doubt it's anywhere close to the size of Pitta's contract. He might be tempted to go to JAX and get a fresh start with a new team.
  22. I hope someone films the first moment of Steve Smith and Joe Flacco meeting each other in person and shacking hands. I'm a bit corny I guess, but I love those kind of moments.
  23. I'm not a fan of the Clark rumors. At this point of his carreer, the only thing he brings to the team is experience. However, atleast the FO is looking into the FS position. Our best bet is to rebuild our OL through the draft and Oz probably will have to invest all of our high draft picks to do so, because those players have to work for us immediately. That OL last season was one the worst in the league, we still have not changed anthing in any way and turning them into a good unit will be a tall order.
  24. I totally agree with this. I think the current situation of the OL is the most concerning part of our offense. Everyone breaths a sigh of relief after we got Monroe back, but there are many holes in that OL and many uncertainties. We should be more active in FA, just for the sake of creating more depth. We paid Flacco Tom-Brady-type-money, we probably should give him a Tom-Brady-type-OL.
