  1. I'm sure the Ravens were concerned about that when they drafted Gino Gradkowski... Sometimes it workd out, very often it doesn't. Hey, I'm really hoping that Bobby Engram can fix Perriman. I really do.
  2. 1st round draft pick. Everyone expects him to produce right now. Matt Elam has been with us for 2 seasons and... http://boards.baltimoreravens.com/topic/61943-is-matt-elam-a-bust/ That's great, but no one questioned the catching ability of those guys either. Sometimes small hands do translate to bad hands, for other guys it doesn't. I'm just saying, that all those guys never had an issue with the most important part of being a WR. Catching. Breshad dropped alot of balls and double caught a couple others. He needs to spend alot of time with the jugs machine.
  3. The main difference is, that no one ever questioned Gordon's ability to catch. He has 10" hands. Breshad has 9 1/4". I really hope BP will prove all his critics wrong, but that ESPN lowlight reel of his drops was kinda rough to look at. He has some work to do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFv8MM6Pw2U The drops start at around 1:50. The quality is bad, but that's the only video I could find.
  4. I think it's all understandable. I'm sceptic of draft risers also. Perriman better spend alot of time at the Jugs machine. He needs alot of work.
  5. SSS gonna retire soon. IR Waller, just like we did with Streeter or just carry 6 receivers. The Ravens need to prepare for a SSS-less 2016 season, imho.
  6. Buck Allen is a pick Trestman is going to love. Matt Forte had 74 receptions in 2013 and 102! receptions in 2014. Trestman loves himself a receiving RB and Buck fits that mold really well. Joe's completion percentage will be really high next season. I'm a bit iffy on the Tray Walker pick. He will need time to develop and if, god forbid, Webby and Jimmy get hurt (again), he probably won't be able to help us. Great potential, just won't be able to contribute early. The Za'darius Smith is solid. I think people underrate him, because he played with Dupree.
  7. Not gonna lie, Jerry Lovelocke is a great name. He'll fit right in with Phillip Supernaw, Crockett Gillmore (still my favorite), Ladarius Webb and, of course, MaXX Williams (so extreme).
  8. I don't get how a guy growing up around football has issues, that are coachable. Shouldn't he have fixed those by now with all the talent and experience that was surrounding him? I really hope those drops are just concentration drops and not a case of bad hand-eye-coordination. Perriman is build like Josh Gordon. It would be nice to have a guy of that caliber on the team.
  9. Bradford isn't worth the 19th overall pick. The Browns can't possibly be this stupid.
  10. Looks cool, imho. Reminds me of some college team, I just can't figure out which one it is. Unfortunetly, they did put those 3d numbers on the jersey that I hate so much. Other than that, it looks good.
  11. I guess, with his experience with the Texans, Schaub can help Joe to become even more familiar with Kubiak's system. I don't expect much from him on the field, though. If Joe goes down, I'll start looking up next years draft class immediately. Game over, man! Game over!
  12. I've given up on Jimmy too early, just to be proven wrong later, I'm not giving up on Matt Elam just yet.
  13. NE has the best TE in the league, though. Clearly, it doesn't hurt to have elite receiver.
  14. Wow, I must be the only one, who doesn't think Devin Smith is all that great. Everyone is sold on the guy.
  15. I really hope this motivates Elam and he becomes a solid starter for us. I'm still rooting for the guy.
  16. Aren't we giving up on Elam too quickly? I thought Jimmy was a bust for a really long time and now I'm praying we manage to keep him.
  17. It seems to me like alot of teams are filling their needs for WRs in FA. Ozzie might have several good players to choose from in round 1. I like it.
  18. I dunno, our best guys are very injury prone.
  19. ProFootballTalk @ProFootballTalk ยท 37 Min. Vor 37 Minuten Brandon Browner is in New Orleans for a visit. Washington, Baltimore, Cleveland, Jacksonville also interested. Would be nice, if we could land him.
  20. Have we made an attempt at signing Tramon Williams or Chris Culliver? They are nothing special, but both are solid starters, who can contribute. Can't say that about most of our CBs.
  21. Just in case the Jets or Titans take MM? I'd also imagine taking Bradford's contract is one of the reasons why Philly was able to jump this high up the draft. The Rams were desperate to get rid of him.
  22. Getting Mariota would be a huge deal for Kelly. You can question how well Marcus would do as a conventional QB (he certainly will have to learn alot there), but it's undeniable that he executed that Oregon offense masterfully. Kelly gets critized so much by the "experts" right now, I kinda hope that the Eagles will win their division next season.
  23. Better be enough to trade up for Mariota. Bradford isn't the future for anyone. And he costs. Alot.
  24. AJ would be huge for us. Don't get me wrong, but I can see it happening. We don't have the money for it. Indy makes too much sense for him. Heck, I bet Seattle could give him a better deal.
  25. 2013 against the Redskins. That's why we would get him cheap. Btw, when was the last time Bowe played with a legit QB?
