  1. Condolences to Trays family. He died way too young.
  2. Hope you get well soon, Tray.
  3. I'm not trying to predict their next move, I'm just saying what they probably should do. Hue is a good HC, but their roster is garbage. They need to give him time.
  4. What else should they do? This years QB class is underwhelming. Goff or Wentz with the 2nd overall pick is a mistake, imho. Maybe gamble on Hackenberg in the 2nd round. Who knows, maybe he is a diamond in the rough and Hue can get him back on track. Not sure, if his inaccuracy can be blamed on just that OL, though. I'd still take Ramsey, if I am them.
  5. Maybe for the best. Give Hue 5 seasons, suffer through a couple really bad years until a legit Andrew Luck-type QB come around and then you're the one with the top over-all pick.
  6. I don't agree with this decision at all. He was a good player, imho and he managed to stay out of trouble, when he played for us. Unless we can land Ramsey, I highly doubt that, or expect much from Elam or Webb (which is a gamble), this move doesn't make sense to me at all.
  7. Your post is a bit harsh, but there is something to it. Did we really change our offseason strategy to previous years, when it comes to adressing the WR position? We're still filling the roster up with ageing veterans and roleplayers. Our WR corps is better than last years, but our group was horrible, so that's not that big of a deal. We basically just had Aiken. I can already tell, that we'll pick a WR late and this year I wouldn't even have any right to complain, since this years WR prospects are not that great. Unless Perriman, who is for now just a workour warrior, who lit it up during his proday, turns out to be a star, our group is kind of mediocre.
  8. It's amazing what a few million dollars can do. :P
  9. I wouldn't. Fitz > SSS
  10. Palmer has Fitz.
  11. Trestman is a pass-happy OC. Even, if he forces himself to run more, he'll still will make Joe throw plenty. With Wallace, Smith and Aiken we atleast have some, albeit ageing, weapons to throw the ball to. If BP turns out to be good, he and Wallace will improve Joes YPA greatly. Flacco finally will be able to use his main weapon more often, the deep ball, which should change our offense.
  12. Welcome to the winning side of Ravens-Steelers rivalry.
  13. He? You mean Perriman or Campanaro? I guess, it has to be both. Gosh, last years receiving corps. Receiving corpse more like it.
  14. We still need atleast a solid backup for Monroe. Monroe and Hurst are not enough to protect Joes blinside for a whole season. OT and CB are the two top positions I see the Ravens adressing the draft early. Followed up by WR and a pass-rusher of course.
  15. I hope this gives Joe more confidence to throw long. Some of those underthrown passes last season were super annoying. Wallce isn't the type of guy, who gets a ton of contested throws, but he can go long.
  16. It's a shame, that we're lacking quality receivers this year. Not much talent to be had in the draft and as pumped as everyone is about the Wallace signing, I still feel very uncertain about our WR group. Lets pray BP turns out to be actually legit. I wish I could've atleast seen one preseason game out of him.
  17. I can't see us doing that ,unless we trade back and pick Judge Tread in the middle of the first. This isn't 2014. This draft class isn't talented enough.
  18. We still need to draft a WR, possibly early. Ageing veterans, cast-offs and previously injured players won't get us far. Still, a decent addition.
  19. They formed a great corps once during one playoff run and then either disappeared back into irrelevancy or wanted way too much money than they were worth.
  20. Would be nice to get Joe a star receiver in his prime, but unless BP turns out great, the chances for that are slim.
  21. If we can't land Beachum, getting a good backup for Monroe will be really important. Not much there in FA unfortunetly, unless we really like injured and aging tackles. Joe is coming off an injury. Is this really the time for experimentation? Hurst could be a decent backup for Wagner at RT, but I don't want him to protect Joes blindside any longer.
  22. Yeah, even the Jags got a franchise WR out of that draft. We're really bad with this position. So frustrating.
  23. Jags wanted Beachum to sign before leaving. Hmmm.
  24. Wow. Great signing by the Jags, imho. Prince Amukamara 1 year deal 5mill (3mill garanteed). It's a good deal.
  25. Alot of people complain about Pees, Harbs, Trestman or Flacco, but what team has Baltimore surrounded our coaching staff and our franchise QB with? If you look at the teams, that went to the Superbowl, you see alot of great picks in the draft (Panthers) and alot of activity in FA (Broncos). Ever since we lost of our keyplayers to retirement after the 2012 season, we didn't draft many difference makers outside of CJ Mosley. Instead we still rely on veteran players to carry the team. Well, we got to see what happens, when we lose Sizzle and Joe. It didn't look good. Should we start to hold Oz accountable for drafting alot of solid, but not great players and not making enough splash moves in FA? I love Ozzie and he has been a great GM, but hasn't he lived off past reputation in the last couple years? I'm in alot of trouble right now, I know, but I feel like this topic is worth discussing.
