  1. By putting Arrington on IR vs. releasing him - that's a good sign that Dixon will not go on IR because they think he'll be ready sooner. The only reason to put Arrington on IR (vs. release) is to keep him in reserve if the CBs get hit with the injury bug. Since only one player can return, Dixon would be the no-brainer choice if he was going on IR.
  2. Terrence needs to take a remedial tennis ball drill. That drill was designed exactly for the pick he missed. For the 3rd week in a row, the rookies really stood out. 6 rookies had substantial PT with the 1’s in the first half and impressed. - Chris Moore showed nice hands and route running ability – he’ll be a mismatch problem in the slot - Matt Judon got to play with the 1’s as promised and looked the part - Ken Dixon is clearly #2 RB and was ascending to #1. Hope the knee is not serious - Tavon Young was in the nickle rotation with the 1’s and never got picked on - The All Rookie left side of the OL was solid. Stanley was superb. Lewis seemed to miss a couple blocking assignments but overall was solid.
  3. BRAVO EUGENE MONROE. Anyone and everyone criticizing Eugene Monroe for publicly endorsing medical marijuana needs to read the "Getting Off the T Train" article Sarah linked at the bottom of her blog. Don't criticize Monroe without understanding the facts. If you take the time to read you will discover he is not some pot head, but an intelligent and well-reasoned advocate to stop over-prescribing addictive and harmful opioids and study the use of medical marijuana as alternative for pain relief and potentially for CTE applications. Opioid addiction is increasing at an alarming rate across every social strata in our society. Many times this addiction starts with prescribed pain killers. Opioids are by far more dangerous than marijuana. So why are we so quick to condemn Eugene Monroe for advocating to stop over prescribing addictive opiods and start studying a promising non-addictive alternative? We should be praising Eugene Monroe for his courage to speak out particularly in a society where we so highly value free speech.
  4. Gold. Pants. Fail.
  5. Yes the Special Teams units lead the team in big plays, but I have a hard time anointing them as "sensational" when they also have the 5th most penalty yards in the NFL. How many games have stupid ST penalties changed the momentum of a game this year?
  6. Did Maxx Williams suffer his concussion at the end of the first half when he was hit in the head by a Browns player after taking a knee on the kickoff? No penalty called for late hit?? Or when Shaub slid one yard shy of the 1st down (the one Harbaugh challenged) and 2 Browns hit him mid slide and no penalty? When have you EVER seen the Ravens not get called on those.
  7. Funny and fitting that the Browns fan tearing his jersey is wearing Barkevious Mingo's #51 after the 51-yard kick six.
  8. "we'll figure out how to cover A.J. Green. It would be nice if we did that one time before he retires," Harbaugh said. For a start, don't cover him one-on-one with a safety with the lead and under 6 minutes left in the game.
