  1. I'm really happy about this, particularly for Koch, who has been overlooked for years. They both are highly deserving of it.
  2. Now that's FUNNY! Morose as I have been over our season so far and the likely shellacking we face on Monday night in the full glare of primetime exposure, this gave me some good belly laughs. In the Revenge of the Smith, may the Forsett be with us, and Joe, throw touchdowns you must!
  3. RavensBaltimore, that is an excellent post, and I couldn't agree with you more. I get really tired of the run, run, pass sequence, when the third down play is a must-pass, usually on 3rd and long, and everybody knows you have to pass. Passing on first down is a good way to prevent the loading up of the box because, well, we always run on first down. When we mix up the pass and run on first down, we succeed better.
  4. I wonder why Marlon did not practice? Every day he is not out there gives the other WRs an additional chance to stake a claim on a roster spot. We really have an embarrassment of riches at the WR spot so far this year.
  5. I think it's a good idea, but an unsettling thought just occurred to me. How will being used to west coast time affect the players when they return to the east coast after the two-week stay over there?
  6. I think Crockett is gonna have a great year too. Don't sleep on him
  7. Nothing at all! That can be what we chant at the stadium when he touches the ball, like we did for Heap, but when write about him on the boards, we could refer to him as Mad Maxx or one of the other suggested nicknames, I suppose. We have been waiting a long time for a good player with a chantable name since Heap, so why not Maaaaaaaxxxx?
  8. Asa was 25, and he changed his number to 27, so Walker took 25. I don't know if there has been another number swap since.
  9. I certainly hope he does have a great year. Sami has it right, though. Joe just didn't target him that much. But when the ball came to him, he caught it, and his YAC got better and better as the season went on. I love Marlon, and am really routing for him to succeed this year. I think he should be used more in the red zone too.
  10. JJ is one of my favorite Ravens. Welcome back home, JJ, we love it that you are retiring a Raven
