I think Jim Hostler would be the best OC we have ever had. He is a genius when it comes to the offense, and he has always been an integral part to our team. I would support this move.

Depends on how much he demands. I wouldn't take him back if he asked for any more than a million dollar raise. He's replaceable.

Reed was a Free Agent meaning his contract was up sooooooo why is people on here saying he left???............Oh never mind, I forgot this isn't a business to most fans.

Don't care what anyone says, would love to see him back. Will it happen? Probably not. In reality, should it happen? Definitely not, he isn't even a shell of his former self. But I still would not mind it at all.

No, Boldin was already under contract next year, and Flacco's cap hit is lower next year than it was this year. Going forward Flacco's increased cap hits will have an effect, but it significantly helped us for next year's cap specifically. The short answer is I think the front office viewed Boldin as a player who was making a lot of money and not producing the way they expected - the playoffs were great, but 3 straight seasons without 1000 yards after being a 1000 yard receiver in 4 of 5 seasons as the secondary guy, and then you can't hit 1000 as the number 1? I think that had more to do with it, that and the fact that the front office was probably trying to prioritize signing young players like Ellerbe and Kruger over a 33 year old wide receiver.

It has nothing to do with Flacco, more like Suggs and some other D players who are like 11 million against the cap this year......
