    Wow, Jimmy Graham?  There is no point I would touch him in a draft.  You realize he has the same injury as Victor Cruz and already has a secondary injury trying to return.  It's the worst injury you can have.  There is another Seahawk that could really break out not mentioned here.

    I have heard that about the mental side of the game with Brown, which will always keep a player completely off the field.

    It's not the total money. It's cash payout. Actually listening to a lot of agents that's more of Abig deal to both the players and teams than I used to think it was.

    I believe the number they are trying to differ was 8-9 mil.  Also my point was less villainizing the Chargers. More why so many quickly jumping to villainize the player. This was before the details were even out. I don't understand why so many quickly trash the players and take the teams side in all these negotiations.

    To me Skins should be a big favorite in the east.  Their defensive front is underrated. Their Oline should come together. The rest of their division all have a lot bigger weaknesses.

I understand Bosa is trying to exercise what little power he has in negotiations, but someone answer me something about the signing bonus. The Chargers want it split up in two years? Is that voidable at all or is there any way that he doesn't receive it all if he agrees to it in two payments?

    The Chargers not paying him if he's cut or goes to another team makes sense, but if he's not going to lose money, I don't understand that on Bosa's end. Fowler Jr. got $15M for his signing bonus. If Bosa takes that in two payments, that's still $7.5M on top of maybe another 500K for his base salary, so he'd be making around $8M in his rookie season, a life changing amount. What difference does it truly make if he's getting $15.5M in year one or $8M? That to me is ridiculous.

    Also, I think it's silly to point out the other high picks that held out for the Chargers because as far as I know, those players were drafted before the new CBA and could actually negotiate their entire salary and signing bonus. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the Chargers haven't had a holdout of this magnitude since 2011 (five drafts) when the new CBA went into effect. Is this correct? That points to this being a totally new and unique issue for the Chargers since the new CBA was signed.

    I was listening to Andrew Brandt on the matter and the biggest sticking point is the chargers are trying to hold back over half the bonus which is the most unreasonable part. If they were to lessen that percentage bosa likely would take it. Fact is that's a lot of money that's being invested and earning more for one side.

    The Ravens should get more credit. It takes stones to hire a special teams coach as your HC. That kind of forward thinking is what keeps this team ahead of the easy hiring of the hottest OC or the easy path of status quo with Rex. 

     

    Theres no no doubt in my mind John is the second best coach in the league and the only one who's been able to consistently best the number one coach. No doubt in my mind that will bear out over the next decade.

    Also reporting that only $9.5M is guaranteed...his 2016 compensation. He has a $27.5M team option for 2017, so if he sucks this year, they can move on with little financial consequence.

    Basically a bulky deal with very little guaranteed money. Kaepernick deal essentially.

    That's a really smart deal for them if it's similar to kaps.

    Still can't believe teams make season ticket holders pay full admission for these games. 

     

    The games are extremely relevant for the guys who's careers are on the line and that last practice squad spot. It's not for the starters. Never has been.

Events like Swimming,Diving,Track & field,Fencing,Kayaking,Shooting,Boxing,Judo,Archery,Gymnastics,Weightlifting,Cycling and Wrestling. Every 4 years its held in another state. I like this idea. 

    There are already Olympic team trials which are highly contested. They don't just randomly pick people to compete.

    It's possible sure. But if there was ever going to be a year they are focused enough to kick the door in this would be it. A bit reminiscent of the Ravens 011 season.

    We'll see but I bet Dalton comes back and plays close to where he was last year. The only question is how he will fare when the pressure is on in the playoffs. On both Dalton and Lewis.
