  1. Flacco was far more responsible for that win thanLewis. As much as I love Ray he was good but not great in 2012. Flacco was great.
  2. Yeah. Also sometimes the better and more instinctual the player the more frustrated they can get trying to coach up others.... Mike Singletary.
  3. The best was the two Jaguars kickers and the Fondu pot.
  4. My point is just those teams were offensively carried for the most part. You have to have some of both to make it to the super bowl. But I don't think he relys on his defense only.
  5. He got injured fumbling a cell phone. Literally.
  6. The other two are kind of irrelevant. Zeke is going to carry the load. I think if 100% McFadden would easily beat out Morris.
  7. I would say look at a guy like Billick. Cutting edge offense for the time. Yet he was enough of a leader to turn a perennial loser franchise that couldn't beat the Jags to world champs against all odds with a pedestrian offense at best. Harbaugh has has a special teams background but his great leadership is what brought a young offense and diminishing defense to perennial contenders and champions. Belichicks defenses have been less than stellar in their last three super bowl appearances.
  8. Been a bit busy since my early morning picks. Wasn't expecting a multiple page debate on Brandon Lafell...ok. So I picked Pagano because he's an aggressive coach which is necessary to win to me. I like him a lot better than some other guys already picked. I don't think the head coach decision should be based of their ability or experience with x offense or y defense. You want a leader at he top and Chuck has shown that despite some pretty poor front office decisions and dealing with the despicable Irsay.
  9. Thanks. I also like Vannett and I likely would have taken them both if available. Heuerman likely the better receiver but still a very good blocker which will be his primary role and he's familiar with the oc I plan to get. Rodgers has never favored the TE in the passing game but the occasional big plays to the which would be what Heuerman is to me.
  10. The Villains select.... Chuck Pagano, head coach Jeff Heuerman, Tight End
  11. It's simple negotiations. And he can be tagged again if necessary.
  12. I don't understand why people get upset with the players when they use their few negotiating tactics they have but when the team does the same their shrewd negotiators. People should remember these negotiations are business.
  13. I like Brown a lot. He's actually played better in the Nfl than I expected he would. I actually was listening to some pretty interesting analysis on breakout receivers on rotoviz and some of the points for Brown were quite intriguing.
  14. I remember 24 when it first came out and it wasa cool fast paced concept. I believe I watched two more seasons and I remember each getting more far fetched and unbelievable. Fwiw.
  15. Right . I was quite skeptical of where season 2 was going. But it was great. The whole death and resurrection episodes I was also quite skeptical of but they managed to somehow pull that off. When does the new season start.
  16. Beatty pick is interesting. Quite a risk not having a team. I don't think he's going back to NY.
  17. Really? I didn't hear that was decided. And I know I agree. Great characters all around.
  18. Yeah he never was in consideration for me as he falls against my number one rule of this game just trying to get players I like. I don't think Bryant will necessarily fall into the category of a couple guys who are likely gone from the sport. He could turn things around for sure but it's troublesome
  19. Looks like the picture hunt was well worth it. I'm a fan of any photo involving a Michigan player getting blown up. Haha. Calhoun is a guy I want to see how he can translate this year and what kind of impact he will have.
  20. Anyone watch Between on Netflix. I watched the first episode. Pretty interesting so far although it's the same premise as the leftovers so I hope it goes somewhere different. Leftovers was really good two seasons.
  21. I don't think I'd buy too much into these Ota reports. However combined with his less than expected rookie year there is concern. Still I'd take a shot on his potential here also.
  22. Just watched Maze Runner and scorch trials. Very good I thought less cheesy version of mockingbird movies.
  23. The answer is yes
  24. It would be really respectful to everyone if we could just pass boards to each other. That's all it would take.
  25. This is a great post. Particularly the stance on Cleveland. I really hope these young guys like Jensen and Stanley can step up to the plate and return the Oline to the most dominant part of the team it was in 14. We also need to go ahead and resign Wagner and keep this line together and not take any more steps backwards. My statement again Is this team has done quite well in drafting but have failed to retain the right key players for two years in a row which is something they have rarely gotten wrong in the past.
