Watt CB Johnathan Joseph id say that's a talented core and Kubiaks conservative coaching style held them back from doing damage in the playoffs. The opposite of great coaches like Belichick, Harbaugh and Arians do. If it weren't for the even more conservative Bengals team Kubiak would have no playoff victories in Houston.

That sounds about right. After looking back at past drafts I'm really starting to change my mind on the medical issue guys. They just aren't working out and teams drop guys further for this reason than any other.

I don't get the anti player sentiment in these negotiations. He certainly has a right to try to get the best deal he can. This is about off set language. I don't understand why this. Contract situation would make someone not want him as a raven?

I like the pick. I picked him for the Jets. The late acl tear is a concern and none of these medical red shirt players have worked out for the 49ers. Hopefully this kid is different

Wasn't the original plan but ended up mirroring the Jets ILB group adding Henderson. Cannin in can be a good reserve lineman. Just not a starter.

Who was still better than the previous parade of horrendous QBs. Unfortunately finding the right QB is the hardest thing to do from a team building standpoint in all of sports. They are all a shot in the dark coming out. Case in point Manning v Leaf was a real debate. Regardless that should not be what Billick is primarily judged for. If that's the case lets crucify Belichick as well as his gm track record is bad.

That assessment of Billick is bogus. How is it his job to find a QB? That's the gm. Billick completely changed the perception of the Ravens from the loser Browns to champions. That championship would not have been won with marchibroda or others. The HC job is to lead the team to the best of its ability not to be a coordinator only and that's what he did.

That's a good point. That gives me three guys that can do that with webb and Jenkins. I'd like to see what this secondary could do together with a good coordinator.

Well backup plan at corner is the old man Newman who is still playing well. With two young guys in Johnson and Benwikere I needed to add a vet to the group. Went ahead with Swearinger as the 7th DB. I didn't like him early in his career but if anyone is going to get the best out of him it's Bettcher.

I'd be happy to revisit Kubiak after this year. He's got quite an extensive resume of mediocrity for all but one year of his head coaching career. You have to give him some credit for last year but I believe his extreme conservative coaching style hinders them more than benefits. And that will play itself out.

Lol Kubiac. That's pretty funny. Far too conservative. I'd be close to 20 guys before picking him.
