  1. Updated my roster with the team philosophies for offense and defense.
  2. Ivory has a career average of 5.0 yards per carry. He also has a 4.7 ypc after contact average last yr. good for third in the league. He is likely to have a breakout campaign this year as the best back the jets had since Curtis Martin.
  3. Thanks for putting my picks in. Leonard Johnson I admittedly had limited knowledge of before this process. I had only seen a little of him. I read an article on pff about him. He was an unstaffed free agent out of Iowa. He worked his way into the starting lineup behind other underperforming higher paid players. Tamp as style of defense asks its corners to play man to man a higher percentage of plays than any other team. Despite these responsibilities for the rookie he was solid in his 5 starts. He posted a positive grade in coverage along with 6 passes defenses and 3 interceptions including 1 for a score as well as one forced fumble. The young man dudnt let the success go to his head. He returned to school to finish his degree this offseason and gave several interviews that portrayed him as a very humble hard working individual. Another high character guy for my locker room. Vereen was a player I debated with several other running backs. I decided on him due to his superior pass catching ability. As a matter of fact the patriots plan to increase his role in the offense including lining him up in the slot as a wide receiver. He can be a young Darren sproles for my saints style offense. Although vereen has higher upside as a runner.
  4. Breads pick is posted. Free agent is up again.
  5. Great idea, I will add one as well after my next picks.
  6. I meant to say he has some nice pass rushing skills in addition to his run stopping ability. Another example of an up and coming ram defender.
  7. Is t3 in another time zone?
  8. Great sleeper pick by geving. I had Hayes on my radar for a long time. Ended up going another direction but Hayes is a nice up and coming d end who has some good pass rushing skills.
  9. Made the pick in Berad's stead... fantastic pic he found there lol.
  10. I am for as many rounds as everyone is willing to go.
  11. McCain is interesting. Young player still struggled alot last yr but played very well in 11. Was he a beneficiary of others strong play in 11 or a victim of playing a bit out if position due to injuries in 12?
  12. Ware and long is a lethal combo. Darius and Bryant are very solid in the middle. Wheeler is a good coverage wilb. Now acho I am not a fan of at all, Brinkley is not a detriment and is ok against the run he looks to be replaced by minter. Not sure how much better you could have landed as ilb is one if the thinnest positions left. Hall, trufant, Nelson and Chung is a nice mix in the secondary. If hall can stay healthy I would rank this defense overall near the top.
  13. Any chance you or someone got Ed's pick?
  14. Yes this has been the slowest week by far. It will be nice if we can get back to passing picks to each other so the draft can continue day and night. It is frustrating seeing the nba draft fly through picks while this one moves slow.
  15. Many would not guess Spaeth was actually the number one blocking tight end ranked by pff. I know you were not alone coveting him. Hawkins is a fantastic pick for a slot wr. He was my number one available and I was even considering taking him as a fourth wideout.
  16. I sense subterfuge from Horus.
  17. I'm pretty sure you are thinking if the number one wideout left in my eyes so I doubt it will be a reach of any kind.
  18. The most insane move of this whole draft was the team in the number 2 slot picking Calvin Johnson.
  19. I think the defensive front 4 is the best part of that team by far. Linebackers have various questions but should be solid enough. O line has some good pieces.
  20. Has to be Ocho cinco.
  21. That's bad news for the other newly taken over team. I am pretty sure nflfan wanted palmer. Still I think the red headed team is in slightly better shape but I would rank both in my bottom 5 as they stand today.
  22. Pretty frustrating waiting for the same player who knew their turn was up before they signed out.
  23. I like scwenke as well but he's not going to beat out velasco this year. Corvus will definately have the youngest team in the game. Ben tate I considered, but more concerning than his injuries is that he has underperformed whenever he was given a start. His big games were in mop up duty.
  24. Dynamic Duo
