  1. I like hixon alot. He was the free agent receiver I would have liked to see come here. However the fact that ny gave up on him when he was one of Eli's favorites early on is telling.
  2. This is certainly not the worst team put together. The offensive line especially is a solid unit. I like the Sendlein pick for center from who was remaining. I also like palmer at the QB from who was remaining. I am not a fan of Mathews in the least, but I understand that choice. Walker is a good player... probably best in a rotation as more of a run stopper, but a solid player nonetheless.
  3. Well less than 2 hours for the skip... Ready with Horus' pick?
  4. Munnerlyn is someone I had high on my list of corners remaining. He was a lone bright spot in a poor secondary last year. I like him best in the slot but he can hold his own on the outside as well. Damontre Moore is one of my favorite prospects from this draft. In fact he was my first pick. In the other draft. His best position I think is 34 rush lb, but the giants want him for dend. Can't really argue with their success there. Sio Moore was another one of my favorite prospects remaining. I think ss is a stretch, but his athleticism and versatility as a linebacker make him a special player.
  5. Haha,for ballhawker.
  6. Someone send up the smoke signal
  7. Why not draft a true safety and just carry the fourth corner? Why play a young corner out of position for no reason?
  8. I like the slay pick. He was high on my remaining cb list and is getting positive reports thus far. Who are your other dbs that you want to move verner to safety?
  9. Sopoaga is a good, underrated player. I do believe he is best played in a rotation.
  10. Well I have to give Corvus credit. If you are going for a youth movement you might as well go all in. The youngest team adds 2 more second year players who basically didn't play at all last year. My only question is why Alex smith and not a rookie qb? Also if you were going to take one older player on d, at 29 why Tarell brown?
  11. Terrance williams I am skeptical of as a pro. He may have been a product of a very good college system. Robinson played well for the cowboys. As long as he is not relyed on too heavily he should perform well I agree will dubs assessmentof wilson. Smart move for him.
  12. I'm pretty sure challenge is on automatic skip and did not make a pick last rd. is that correct?
  13. Hawk hasn't really played that well the last couple of yrs. most notably against the pass. He may just not be athletic enough to get the job done there. He has remained solid vs the run. Greer has played quite well with pretty much no one around him on defense. Nice selection there.
  14. I have not seen him on. Hopefully all is well.
  15. You've done a good job giving locker every chance in the world to succeed. I will be watching him closely early in the year to see if he can make any improvements in his poor decision making. I believe lockers play will dictate Tennessee to be either 4-12 or 12-4.
  16. Man! I can't believe ballhawker took my guy. I was going to take ellison to be my fb/te with my next pick. He is drawing a lot of high praise in minnesota as a slightly smaller but quicker version of jimmy kleinsauser(sp?)
  17. Norv WAS a good coordinator. In the 90s. His system is the exact same as cam Camerons.
  18. I do agree San Diego has been the worst coached team in the nfl by a wide margin since they fired Marty. Why anyone would want norv as even an o coordinator is beyond me.
  19. Lafell was a guy I was really high on going in to last year. I kept waiting for his breakout and it never really came. Now was that due to his own ability or he struggles with the line in Carolina and cams down year. Hard to say for sure, this is kind of a make or break year for him to prove he can be a number 2.
  20. Bryce brown in think was kind of a one hit wonder. He had the big game then he was just way too careless with the football. San Diego has tried to get Mathews to take over the lead back role there for several years now. Due to injury and IMO overrated ability he has been unable to best out full backs for thst role. Count me as not a fan of his.
  21. I agree with this. He is a player I love. He has been down a big the last two years but he has been played out if position. I still feel he would be best as a 34 olb with more freedom. Playing one of the 3 lb spots in the giants set up is not really ideal for him IMO.
  22. Wow hope everyone is ok... That switch I think is unfortunate. You accommodate freeney yes and I realize 34 olb is impossibly thin right now but the rest of your team was definitely set up to run the 34 base, I also coincidently feel that was the strongest part of this team. Baldwin has a ton of potential and is physically imposing if he can get his head on straight.
  23. Hill seems to be pretty much of a bust in my eyes. Maybe he can be a donte stallworth type but I'm not a fan if his Roberts on the other hand is a pick I love. He is a very nice receiver who shined despite putrid qb play. Nice selection.
  24. For what it's worth pff ranks Grubbs as the number 5 guard last yr with strong grades in every category. Here is an interesting stat. Combined number of qb hits/sacks/hurries for thd top five guards: Mathis: 20 Yanda: 11-how impressive is that? Boone: 20 Moore: 20 Grubbs: 22 Iupati: 21
  25. Good to see you have returned. Keep in mind if you are busy just leave your pick with someone. There are many of us willing to post picks for each other, then we don't have to all wait around for a full day for you. Thanks. FYI I like the Robinson pick, gabes analysis of him was pretty much spot on. Shipley I would question weather he can be a reliable starter. He seems like more of a strong backup to me.
