  1. Thamks for the link. Good read. I was a bit concerned with gradkowskis performance watching the game. I hope to see him progress this week. If yanda suits up next to him that should help as well. Hopefully wagner gets another extended look at him. He was very solid run and pass blocking. Not sure why harewood would be listed as a tackle. He is a good guard. As for the d line rotation. The potential of this group is jst sick. The inly puzzling decision to me is the mcphee switch to olb as the writer points out.
  2. I like mills as well, but I was really happy with what we saw of Wagner so far. He was very solid vs Tampa. What seems to have been lost in all the wr hullabaloo was how well the entire second string o line performed.
  3. Looks like j marcus Webb has been demoted to right tackle and may be displaced by rookie Jordan mills in Chicago. Not looking so good for prophets line http://m.espn.go.com/general/blogs/blogpost?blogname=chicagobears&id=4684661
  4. Thanks appreciate the compliment. I wanted a deadly ball field like the saints had in their best years to be able to hold any lead. FYI. I have not had a chance to sign up for the continuation but left my pick with Horus. John Kuhn.
  5. Sorry for the delay, work sucks. Weighed several options here but went with another Ayer to make my offense even more elite. Andre brown is the perfect compliment to my stable of backs. Fantastic in short yardage and underrated in the open field. He had the fourth highest ypc/rush of all running backs last year. He can also hold up in pass protection as one of only 25 backs who graded positively in this category last year by pff.
  6. Nice pick with collins.
  7. You should have drafted to when you had the chance, he is making a comeback you know.
  8. ...we're halfway there.
  9. I like Murray as a feature back but he has been slowed by injury every year. I AMA firm believer in a strong backfield rotation, so I would say that is your biggest weakness on offense actually. On d, your pass rush is nice lead by spencer and jones(who I believe really breaks out this year). You also have inside rush from canty. I think your biggest weakness o. D is your safeties. I'm not a big fan of either. Verner is yet to be seen what he can do there. However I am a firm believer in building the front of the d first. You can hell coverage with a pass rush but the best coverage in the world will be beaten with no rush.
  10. I must disagree with your statement here. First off any wide receiver can be taken out of a game. Especially when the other weapons and the qb and the offensive game plan are all limited. The bears were able to take Calvin out of the game for example and the lions are superior to the bengals in all the aspects I listed. Now j must say I like Freeman's potential to build around. Look what he was able to do with Vincent Jackson last year for example. Hawkins is a nice underutilized weapon in cincy. If he was used correctly he could be as effective as Randall Cobb.
  11. Yes I expect Hopkins to be that guy. He has fantastic hands and concentration in traffic. In all honesty I am less confident in my tight end position. I like kelce but he is less of a sure thing than Hopkins is to me. From rotoworld: As CSN Houston puts it, Hopkins' best day was Wednesday until he excelled on Thursday. Then Thursday was his best day until Friday. The No. 27 overall pick and clear-cut starting "Z" receiver continues to make big plays on a daily basis. "All the contested stuff is what he's exceptional at, when it's close and it's him and another guy, he makes the play," coach Gary Kubiak said. Hopkins is a WR4 with upside in re-draft and one of the best Dynasty prospects in this rookie class. Aug 5 - 9:48 AM Also FYI the reports in broyles are that he is running and cutting and running precise routes. Showing no ill effects from the acl. There is one guy I really wanted that would have been ideal for this offense and that was lance Moore. Taken just before my pick.
  12. I think gabes d is better than those ahead of him. He has the interior pass rush as well as the outside, same as what I am saying with Campbell. Nothing can disrupt an offense like interior pressure. P
  13. Campbell is best playing the same role as watt 3/4 de. Next to watt I believe hi impacts a game more than any other defender. In other words, while wake is the better outside end, he doesn't impact a game inside like Campbell can. I have Campbell+dumervil on one side. Wake on this team doesn't have the same type of interior compliment. I know his base d is different but still I ask one question. Campbell and wake in the board who do you take?
  14. I have Campbell.
  15. I agree i like his team in the top 5 as well. D would say we are very close. He has the better corners. I have the better line backers. Very close d lines. I like my safeties better.
  16. Hmm. Even with bulaga out I would take my o-line over ravens_ by quite a bit. Also Rodgers way way way ahead of Matt Ryan. I would put gabes team higher. I wouldn't argue with it being at one.
  17. Anyone heard from ray. Ready to Finnish this tonight.
  18. This was a nice pick. I really like Moore as your back up to the uncertain locker. He is a very nice back up and I believe better than several starters as you point out his strong starting campaign when given the opportunity.
  19. Well considering their secondary is not very good that is not a good sign for nnamdi. Shocking to see a player fall that far at a young age and no injury. Kind of unprecedented really.
  20. Well one difference is I still have an elite left side. Also bulaga will be on my team in future years still. I have your team overall a bit higher than gabe however I agree your tackles and secondary are weak points.
  21. Wow just heard about bulaga. That is really going to hurt the packers. My team though is ok. I just drafted beachem as my utility back up lineman and he's already played rt.
  22. It is somewhat set up like a true expansion team and it is hard to argue the pass rush because it is dependent on rookies. But they are relatively safe being first round picks. But you are correct if none of them pan out the team will be poor. I just don't necessarily think that's likely.
  23. Hmm, I have to disagree a bit on sin city at 32. As you state the o line is quite formidable. I would place Alex in the middle of the pack, average category, with dalton Schaub etc. Tate is well below average as a runner I agree there. I would say his wr group could be quite dangerous despite their youth. On defense he has a nice front 7 with plenty of run stopping ability and pass rush. Anchored with Mathews. There is inexperience in the back end but with a strong pass rush they could be asked to do less. Over a 5 year span this team could rise to top ten but I would place it middle of the pack right now.
  24. I predict the pick will be ziggy hood.
