  1. its very possible. Denver has the toughest 3 games of anybody and Miami just lost their QB. The loss of Tranny-hill might make the Dolphins better. Tranny is hot garbage.
  2. Not getting stops before half time and allowing long bombs for TD late in games have plagued this team in the Harbaugh/Pees era.
  3. 5 Things to Watch Vs NE 1) Get blown out early. 2) Lethargic Flacco passing short of the marker with no help from the OL. 3) Late Special team heroics to make it very interesting down the stretch. 4) Allow a 79 Yd TD in the following play. 5) Watch the most lackadaisical, lifeless, with no-sense-of-urgency offense try to mount a late comeback. 6) Lose.
  4. I agree the D wasn't bad. They only allowed 496Yds of Offense. 500Yds now that would have been inexcusable. Embarrassing performance on all levels except Special Teams and Dixon.
  5. Is there a game thread? What happened to the post game press conference??
  6. I would like to do research and find all the games in the past couple seasons we have allowed the opposing team to score a 70-80YD bomb on us late in the game when the Ravens are either ahead or trailing by 3. It would be an interesting topic for an article Ryan Mink.
  7. Why is it that no matter the team every time we make it a game after we are getting blown out they score a 1 play 80 yard TD on us? Classic Dalton and AJ Green connections multiple times, Carr with Cooper, Eli and Odell, Brady with Hogan... This has happened at least 5-6 times in the past couple seasons. Last season I believe AJ Green did it twice in a single game!
  8. Thanks Ravens D. There goes my fantasy season. Arghhh and it had to be at the hands of Brady. No resistance what so ever. Total embarrassment. Besides that play to Juice they havent sustained a single drive.
  9. ESPN’s Jamison Hensley: “The Dallas Cowboys have Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. The New England Patriots have Tom Brady. And the Seattle Seahawks have Russell Wilson. For the Baltimore Ravens, the player who continually comes through time and time again is Justin Tucker. Jamison, Russell Wilson does not belong in the same conversation as Justin Tucker. Russell is garbage
  10. ...Dakkity Dak don't come back. hahaha Come on Ravens there are a couple of Cowboy fans I would love to sing this to.
  11. Ray said this to bring attention to Ray! I loved Lewis as a player and he does great things for the community. However, he is HORRIBLE as an analyst and just wants to bring attention to himself. Just because Joe doesn't have his leadership style does not mean he is not a leader. Ray-Do us all a favor and use your passion to help out the community and leave Flacco alone! If he (or anyone else for that matter) want to criticize Flacco's play--Fine--He deserves that because we all know Flacco has not played well this year.--But don't question his leadership--That leadership helped bring you a 2nd title! Of course Joe helped Ray get a 2nd title, but Ray helped Joe get his 1st title. Dont ever forget that. Ray doesn't need the attention. Joe has always lacked leadership. Ray is not asking Joe to be rah rah, he is asking Joe to sit next to his guys and chat, talk, converse, "this is what we did right/wrong, this is how we are gonna fix it, next drive we should try to exploit this weakness..." the way a Payton Manning or any other non-rah rah but still a great leader would gather his troops. Joe is a one man show on the sideline. If Joe could he would be watching TV on an iPad on the sideline while the D is on the field. For someone making $120M to play a TEAM sport, totally unacceptable!
  12. Get ready to buy 7-8 more pumpkins. Its gonna be a long long season.
  13. 4th and 9 Fake FG in the Super Bowl is not careless enough for you? Having Tucker line up as a lefty and throw a pass in swirling winds not characterized as careless? The main reason why you go for the points is because there was a ton of time on the clock and aside from 1 big catch the D was doing a great job and creating turnovers. In the scenario that we would have gone for the FG that would have made the game 16-17. If in the following drive the Giants score a TD and go up 16-24 it is still a 1 possession game. Can you win a game in the 4th Qrt with 14 plus minutes left on the clock? NO! Can you win a game in the 4th Qrt with 0 minutes left on the clock? YES! WTG Harbs! You do realize that after we turned the ball over on downs, the Giants only got to the 20 and punted which we then turned into a FG to make the score - you guessed it - 17-16. Same outcome. You do realize that in that scenario we would have been driving to score a go ahead FG or TD? Regardless, 3 weeks in a row and same result. I wonder how many more times Harbs will keep making boneheaded mistakes and continue to put added stress on our defense until he is realizes it doesnt work.

Even if we gave up a TD, we would have been down 8 points after the FG, and only needed a TD and 2pt conversion to tie. The FG ensured a 1 score game regardless of the Giants drive. Live and learn Harbaugh. That's essentially my point but written by someone that English is their first language! Thanks for clarifying for those that might have not understood my post! =P

  16. lol. How about top 5! 10th to 15th was if we had a decent year.
  17. Since when is a 4-1 team leading their division a "garbage team". The Raiders were the sexy pick to make a run at the Super Bowl this year. And the Skins were division winners and a play-off team last year before adding Josh Norman. Those were 2 close losses to very good football teams. Ok ok I can give you the Raiders. Yeah yeah the sexy pick that spent a lot of money in FA and landed a lot of talent. Still we were winning and we let them score again late in the 4th qrt. The Skins. Please ConquerorWorm do not make me laugh. I actually respect your comments on this site on a daily basis. The Skins are garbage. The represented the worst division in football last year in the playoffs and were one and done. At best they will finish 3rd in their division this year. After the "unfortunate" loss against the Raiders I would have never thought we would produce such a stinker at home against such poor opposition. I can only hope the problem was 100% Trestman and Stanley's bum foot because that should be a quick fix. But i am not very optimistic.
  18. Have you ever watched an NFL season before? You don't give up on a season when you're 3-2. Teams have had much worse 5 game stretches and won the SB. We lost 4 of 5 in 2012(won the SB), and we went 5 games in a row without scoring a TD in 2000(won the SB). On the other hand, because 2 out of the 5 teams we played have losing records, we should just give up on the whole season. That makes plenty of sense. I understand that teams have had way worse 5 game stretches. I cannot compare this team to the 2012 team. This team does not play hungry. And with that alone they wont go anywhere. This defense will never be able to hold a SB contender to under 20points to where Justin Tucker alone could win us the game like in 2000. I am sure the 2000 Ravens defense would have never allowed 20pts to any team much less CLEVELAND in 7mins. I didn't mean to say tank the season, but if serious changes are not made and quick the 2017 season will be the focus sooner rather than later. We'll see what happens. Hopefully the release of Trestman will create a spark. Here's to a better offense...
  19. wow, not giving our defense any credit are you? Seems like they can keep us pretty much in any game, and if the offense can somehow get going, we will still be a better than average team. Look around the league, I really don't see any team out there who is really scary-dominant, I see a whole lot of teams floating along at basically .500. Yeah, you can claim Vikes, Pats, Squealers...none of them seem unbeatable from where i'm standing. Good, but not crushingly great like you usually see a few teams by this time of year. Sounds like you had absolutely no faith in this team before the season even began. I don't see what indication that the Raven's would end up with a losing record, other than pure spite and/or mis-judging the talent level the Raven's possess. Which we do have some very talented players, they simply need to play better than they have so far this season. 6-10? Really? There's plenty to be optimistic about this team, thankfully most Raven's fan's have a more positive opinion and base said opinion in reality and not on doom and gloom fantasies. Haters gonna hate. To be sincere I didnt have high hopes for the team before the season began like you very well said. I am not hating, I am being realistic. Ever since the SB victory and the departure of the "true leaders" the team hasn't shown much besides that 1 run with Kubes. I understand that injuries have plagued the team as of late but like you said they plague every team and with the so called "talent" we supposedly have we have not achieved much as of late. I am not sure if its the "talent's" fault, the coaching or what not. I personally have never been a fan of Pees, I was very very excited when we hired Trestman. I thought he was the best we could get after loosing Kubes. How wrong was I. I always supported Harbs blindly because he was a good man, he knew how to keep his guys in order, make them fight until the end even if the season was out of hand and all that.... but he has been making too many boneheaded calls lately. I will never get over the fake FG in the SB even though we won the game. And this doesn't have to do with the horrendous fake FG against WAS, it has been going on for way too long, clock management, TO, when to throw the flag, zero in game adjustments... list goes on and on. So after all that... I rather keep my expectations low in case we fall it doesn't hurt as much. If we happen to win then all the better.
  20. The manner in which we achieved the 3-0 start and taking into consideration the quality opposition we faced and even more so now that we lost back to back home games against garbage teams means the Ravens need to prepare 100% for 2017. 3-2 means nothing at this point. We could easily be 0-5. At the beginning of the season I predicted 7-9 and after the 3-0 start I bulged on my prediction and bumped them up to 8-8. Now 6-10 is the most likely scenario. Even if we would have started 5-0, I still had doubts this team was gonna win more than 8 games. What scares me the most is that this team is relatively healthy in comparison to the past 2 seasons. Wait till the injury bug hits and we are forced to play our dreadful backups. We are already getting a taste of it with the OL patch work, wait till the secondary gets decimated. We will become the All Pro Factory of the NFL once again.
  21. Whatever happened to the famous quote that hangs on one of the walls of the war room. "The best predictor of future behavior is … past behavior". Who was the genius that hired Trestman? Pees? and Harbaugh is showing more and more that his success as a HC was due to Ray Lewis and Ed Reed's leadership.
  22. Stop chugging the kool aid buddy. I rather have 1 stud RB than 4 mediocre RBs like we seem to have. West's 2.8YPC and Allen's 1YPC yesterday was nothing to rave about. Our defence still has no punch. We still look like a 6-10 / 7-9 team at best.
  23. West had 2.8 yards per carry. Allen had 1 yard per carry. Dixon had 4.8 yards per carry. Since when is 2.8YPC and 1YPC stealing the show? I was not impressed one bit with the performance we put forward. If the Panther starters would have played the entire game we would have got creamed by 35. Its only the first preseason game (don't mean to be a debbie downer) but everything i have seen and read indicates we are a 7-9 non-playoff team. Hope it doesn't come to fruition but last year I had the same feeling and predicted we would finish 5-11 or 6-10 at best. Which is exactly were we finished.
  24. You mean Coleman could wind up a bust like Perriman?
  25. I hope this is a testament to Stanley and not a testament of how putrid our pass rush is gonna be this year. If he was holding Suggs and Dumervil off I would be a little more optimistic but most likely he is going up against undrafted rookies, 6th rounders and a bunch of cast offs from other teams.
