here are my cats. rufus (the doofus), as we call him, is 1 year old. he loves him some catnip. his other hobbies include eating and napping and tormenting raven and izzy. izzy is 6 months old. she is what they call a 'polydactyl cat' or a 'mitten kitten', which means she has extra toes on each paw. although she is the youngest of the bunch, she is not the latest installment to the household. she uses her seniority to boss everyone around, save for rufus. i think she thinks he is her boyfriend. jack is the new kid on the block. he is an animal rescue cat. when he was found he was covered in ticks and was malnourished and underweight. 1 year old, he too is a polydactyl cat. his hobbies include smothering people to death and sleeping on your head at night. he is a lover but also quite the shedder (aren't they always?), if you can't tell. lastly is raven. she arrived shortly before jack. she is approaching her 2 year mark. she loves climbing on top of cabinets, the refrigerator, laying in windowsills and hiding under beds. don't touch her though, if she wants attention, she'll let you know. otherwise, no touchy! with izzy at her side, the two rule the roost.
