Whoever picks up Jacoby will need to pick up the balance of his contract, $900K (per Profootballtalk.com).  Chump change.. give the man another chance.  I think he's still got something to prove.

Would have been cool to see him there for Ed Reed's induction into the Ring of Honor, those two together were the best!

Agreed, he looked good in preseason, and now he'd want to prove himself.  Get him up from the practice squad.

I didn't really get passionate until the Steve McNair era.  Prior to that I would watch now and then (like the 2000 Superbowl) but didn't really know the players or their positions.  I'll admit I was upset by all the early losses this season, but now I'm just convinced this isn't our year, we'll bounce back.

Planning on moving to South Carolina within the next two years (retiring), but I'm not going to be a Panther's fan, it's Ravens all the way!

Wow, canty is really playing??

I'm betting not.  Practiced Thursday, sidelined Friday.   I love Canty, he's been one of my favorite players, I was glad when he was resigned, but this will probably be his last season.

I have a good feeling about the Monday night game.. I also probably won't get to see it all since 4:30 comes way to early.  I'm not a MNF fan.

Even though I'm not "blaming" them for the way we're playing (on not playing).. where are Suggs and Canty?  When Ray Lewis and Ed Reed were sidelined with injuries they were right there giving pointers, showing encouragement as the guys came off the field, giving them tips on reading plays, coaching to a degree.  Steve Smith was right there last week.  These guys need a veteran presence right now, why can't Suggs and Canty be on the sideline?    

I have tears in my eyes, especially when they talked about Sean always being there to help, and this guys name was Shawn. Team fans (any team) are good people, and it's great to hear a story like this surface.

I don't get it.

Not a surprise we brought a RB up, i said earlier i would have brought Asa, and McGee up with Forsett hurt, i didn't expect us to sign a RB, as McGee played great in pre-season, and ran with an attitude....

I thought McGee looked great, they should have at least given him a chance.

If Jackson could hold onto the ball he'd make a good punt returner. Put him back in, let's see if he can get it right.
